I just remember watching this intro when I was 7 and now that I’m 16, the nostalgia honestly makes me cry because it’s a childhood I’ll never get back..
My friend offhandedly mentioned this and I didn't remember until she said "we have our heading" like jack sparrow and then my brain instantly went "here we gooooo!" in peter pan's voice and suddenly i was nostalgic
same !! i was just watching potc 2 and every time jack sparrow said we have our heading i kept waiting for someone to say here we go and then i remembered it’s from this :,,)
This morning I watched the DVD ratatouille and this played as the intro. I sat there and rewatched it 4 times. How time goes by. When I was young this was brand new and now I’m off to college.
It's a shame Disney don't make bad ass movies like those anymore. Everything is just about LGBTQI, feminism, racism, just making a point. That is not what film making is. Walt Disney will state clearly why he made movies "It story telling pal"
I was watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves when my sister and I heard this music and couldn’t remember where we had heard it from. We had a feeling it was something by Disney but couldn’t put our finger on it. We suddenly had an instant realization it was from the beginning of a Disney movie, either DVD or Disney Channel so I searched for Disney Movie Intro and found this and immediately got a rush of nostalgia and happiness. I’m only 15 but Disney has had such an impact on my life and I would’ve never had any of those memories if it weren’t for Disney.
I watched DVDs with this intro all through the 2000s, and tonight I watched Prince of Thieves for the first time. Had no idea the music was from somewhere other than the intro.
Man, I feel sad watching this because this was a golden Era of disney that we will never see again. Back when disney cared more about the quality then the money. Back when we were young little lads and lasses. Back to when disney was the best thing you could ever watch as a kid.
I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! After weeks of trying to remember where I'd heard the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves theme before, I randomly remembered this intro. Thank goodness. I can sleep peacefully now. No wonder I felt like I was about to watch a movie whenever I hear the song. I just kept thinking "no, its not 20th Century Fox or Universal..."
It is from Warner Bros. I just watch that movie. Now Robin Hood Men in Tights which 20th Century Fox is a spoof on both Disney's Robin Hood and The Kevin Costner Robin.
Triton Vid I agree with you. It’s completely ugly. I mean they need to remember that without Walt Disney there never would’ve been a Disney studios or a Disneyland for goodness sakes.
I used to watch Wall-E about daily as a little kid and that "We have our heading. Here we go!" has been engraved into my mind ever since and flooded that nostalgia over me.
This brings so many memories up. From watching Disney movie to going to the Disney parks. Why can’t they bring this back. Disney has special place in my heart
I remember watching this when I was 7, and it was such a special time to be alive. No social media, no smart phones, no crippling depression. It was just care free life.
Sorry that may have came out wrong, but from I mean is like for us we had a stable home and we had no worries at such a young age, sorry again if that came out wrong I, terrible with words
I absolutely loved Bolt back then! I’m 13 years old now and I am so glad I found this intro! The newer generation will never understand how magical these stuff were.
I know this is weird but I kept hearing this sound on TikTok and I had to search for this opening and the amount of nostalgia that hit me made me feel happy and sad all at the same time there was nothing like staying up late watching Disney movies on my vhs eating pop corn, and fruit snacks and getting sucked into a Disney movie. It really brings back my childhood. Thanks
Just looking at this is making me tear up, just seeing all the old classics and hearing that music is just making me cry cause I used to watch this on repeat
Disney+ could never match this! These were the days when we’d come home from school and turn on a DVD; curled up on the couch on a sick day, rainy day, or snow day with snacks, or slumber parties with friends having pizza and buzzed on sugar. Those were the magical moments of our childhood, and this intro brings me back those great times❤
i’m turning 14 soon, and i’ll never forget the joy me and my sister had from the cd cabinets. we used to struggle up in my moms bed like a sleepover and turn this on. i started crying watching this, i miss it so much.
Dude I used to always smile during this intro when I was a kid and then sing the last few beats of the song and bop my head a bit- god I miss those moments 😔
It’s 2 o’clock in the morning and I am currently crying watching this, man I miss my childhood when we had nothing to worry about When going to hang out with your friends wasn’t when you sat their on your phones or going out to parties but when you would have come over and played wii party for hours, minecraft got mcdonald and then Begged her mum to let you sleep over and you would have watched a Disney film
Brings back vibes 2015, watching cars, two God how I wish I could relive the memories 😢 but time flies when you get older, so we should really take time and sit back and enjoy our lives. Text one thing or someone to end it all so enjoy gods lovely planet however you like
this actually makes me cry i remember every friday night me and my sisters would watch high school musical and i this would show up and the nostalgia makes me cry
My nostalgia for this is so high that I started recognizing Peter Pan's "Here we go!" from this more than the actual movie itself and when I was rewatching the movie my brain went into nostalgia overdrive the moment it came up.

I just found this a few minutes ago and I've watched it a few times now. A wave of nostalgia hits me every time i watch it. I miss the old Disney. Disney DVDs aren't the same anymore. The old Disney DVDs had tons of special features and stuff but the newer ones don't have any special features at all. Now, they put all the special features on the blu-rays. The actual movies definitely aren't as good anymore. Don't get me wrong, they're still good. Disney never lost any of its magic or anything. The older movies are just better.
Brings me back to watching enchanted, Narnia, and so many other Disney movies in the little DVD player in the back of the car on long road trips. I’m only 15 but I’m so glad I barely made the cut to be able to be nostalgic about this. Nothing does it anymore like 1990-2010 Disney movies.
Disney can't use the song anymore because that background music is from a WB movie called robin hood prince of thieves ps in the 2000s and early 2010s Hollywood Studios weren't enemies of each other they were allowed to use each other's music example in Disneyland Paris there was Harry Potter music james bond music and for the Disney dvd intro was it the music of the movie robin hood prince of thieves.🤷🏼♂️
Man this was the best times of my childhood 😢 this made me shed tears coz honestly our childhood was something magical ,nowadays kids childhood is trash compared to ours , they will never know the joys of watching these kind of movies from our dvd players 😢
I remember watching a DVD at my dads house at like age 6 and this sound would shock me awake at 3am as the dvd replayed itself for the fifth time in a row
