Disney Genie+: Everything You NEED To Know & The BEST Way To Use It In Disney World | Hollywood 

Molly is the Genie+ master. So many of us have learned all the tips and tricks from her over the years and owe our vacation successes with it to her. This video is perfect timing for my trip coming up, so I’m selfishly very happy to see this video today

I couldn't help but giggle at the 10-minute explanation of Genie+. It is so unnecessarily complicated, and I feel so bad for the 1st time guest who doesn't have a Disney friend to explain or help guide them and just shows up to the park with zero clue. In fact my SIL was considering a trip last summer and I sent 1 detailed email to help her out and explain a few things and that alone overwhelmed her so they decided to give DCL a try instead and don't want to try WDW unless my family goes with them.

I feel like I pretty much knew everything Molly had to say, but I watched the entire video because I just love hearing Molly talk about Disney !! 😃♥️

Molly (and Alan) are my “comfort food.” It’s Sunday morning and I’m watching as I sip coffee and pat my dog.

We were in FL for Xmas week and only did one Disney day. We parkhopped MK to EPCOT. We followed all your tips and used Standby Skipper. We managed to do SO much in one day. We rode 14 attractions across the 2 parks (inc paying for 2 fancy rides) Was it an expensive day? Yes! Was it worth it? 100%. #fiddlefaddleforthewin

We just got back from our trip and Molly is a LIFESAVER!!! The last time we were in the park it was still MGM! We followed all her advice on this and her other videos, saw all the things we wanted to, rode all the rides, ate all the food 😊 Thanks for helping us make our visit magical!

The excitable gushing about all the Tower lobby facts was the most wholesome thing!!! That's exactly how I would react too because Tower is my favorite ride!! I grew up going to Disneyland and was literally heartbroken when they re themed the one there so I cherish the WDW Tower lol

Cast Members are truly amazing and know how to create a magical moment with the smallest action. When we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge one zoo keeper saw how much we enjoyed looking at the animals that she took us backstage to see a few others from a better view including Magic of Animal Kingdom star Casanova! We truly love Cast Members!

I'd love to see Molly (Alan & Max, too) do videos of what they would do for their own personal best day at each park. I live close to WDW, have an annual pass, and have seen most attractions....so what's a perfect day for somebody who has been a lot?

I gotta say. Between Mammoth Club and Ear Scouts videos, I had Genie+ figured out when I took my wife for our anniversary last year. It really helped our MK, DHS, and a late start AK days go smoothly. Big thanks for the work y'all do!

The fiddle faddle technique was a huge success on our trip last week! We checked in for our space mountain time at 4pm then booked jungle cruise for 8:30. Before we even got on space mountain we had fiddle faddled our jungle cruise time down to 4:15! It worked so well for us several times during our trip. Using the tips in this video we were able to ride absolutely everything we wanted! Thanks for helping us have a great Disney vacation!

These videos are SO helpful. Despite seeing all the other ones, getting a refresher when I only go once a year is always helpful. I would love to see a video about traveling between resorts. We like to resort hop and dine at other resorts but it's always an argument deciding which transportation modes, and stopping at which parks to get there makes the most sense when you don't have a car.

I love stacking and fiddle fladdling. It does work with large groups! We had 7 in our group and did it our whole trip at every park.

I would love to see how to maximize your day using all forms (free genie, genie+, fancy rides, fillers) at each park! I think that helps the casual visitor. Especially with all the changes!

I just got back from Disney and I want to say: your genie videos helped us SO much: we truly did almost everything in all the parks ! So much fiddle faddling but so worth it !

Another thing I’d like to see is a whole day at Animal Kingdom or Epcot with no rides, just experiences (paid and free). I unknowingly walked up on the macaw experience my last trip to AK and it was amazing.

That same thing happened to me at Tower too during my last trip! I’m a former cast member and I was rambling facts about the ride and the queue and a cast member let me and my fiancé behind the ropes! It was amazing!

Just got back from DW 56:07 . Fiddle Faddled a slinky dog 5:30pm into a 10:15am while in the line for Smugglers Run at 8:50.

As always, Molly does a great job explaining everything. I don’t know about anyone else, but out of the 56 minutes of this video I think about 20 of them or ads I couldn’t skip.

Thanks for all the info, I arrive on Sunday! I took the WB Studio Tour in L.A. and the golf carts for Abbott Elementary for the kids to ride are replica school buses. They are so adorable and I highly recommend the studio tour. One of the best things I've ever done in L.A. Especially for TV, movie lovers

Hi Molly. For a challenge, maybe see how many different costumes you can see Mickey Mouse wearing in a day. Mickey in a parade is 1, and meeting him at a meet and greet is another as long as it’s different costumes. You can go to all parks and other places like Chef Mickey’s. You don’t need to eat at the restaurants, just film or photograph him.

Please do a 4 park challenge where you do as many of the most popular rides possible! We take our nephew for one day every year and he wants to go on ALL the heavy hitters and thrill rides. The past two years we’ve only made it to 3 parks but this year we plan to do all 4!!!

I say this time and time again, but thank you so much for keeping in your giggles. It brings me so so so much joy. 🖤

In the medical world when we’re dictating and have lists of medications, past surgeries, etc it’s difficult to remember what number you’re on so after 1. we always just say ‘number next’ for the remainder of the numbers in that list. Feel free to adopt that too Molly as you continue to list great advice for us!

Hi Molly! Huge fan! I just wanted to pop in here and say that you CAN use your experience recovery pass in another park, the same day. It happen to me once in HS, a ride went down and then I just wanted to go to MK and there I went to guest services and explained I had a select experience or whatever in HS and they did their magic and I was able to use it in MK! 😊

We're going to WDW in two weeks for the first time in 8 years. The Genie+ system has felt completely overwhelming to me, despite having read several blogs and FB posts about it. I watched this video with pen and paper in hand, took copious notes, and I now feel like I actually understand it! Thank you SO much for making this complicated system easy for us newbies to understand! We're going the week of Easter, so I'm prepared for insane crowds, but the knowledge I gained from this video gives me more confidence that we'll be able to ride everything we want to.

Oh my goodness! That app that I need to learning how to use it well, actually I have not been there since my 40th birthday in December 2001 which 24 years ago now…. I was like oh my! I remembered very clearly when I was youngest I went to Disneyland few times my parents bought an old abc tickets but funny I had it for years but lost it….. I’d love to keep it with my memories but oh well…. Everything I know about Genie+ is because of Molly and Mammoth Club! Any time I go back to the parks I make sure to watch any recent Genie+ videos just as a refresher just to make sure I'm getting the most out of the system.

I love this video!! This information has been so helpful because I am planning on going to Disney World next year and Molly providing me with this information about Genie plus really helped me out for my Disney world trip for next year.

Molly, I love your videos. I love your insight and personality. It makes tackling the parks so much easier. Thank you. I have a request for content: I’ve watched this channel before both of my last two trips. But we have small children (last trip was 3 kids ages 5 and under). We have a stroller. We do rider swap. We go back and take naps. As helpful as your content is, it is still VERY different when your party is having to park a stroller (and then pick it back up), take emergency bathroom breaks, do rider swap, take a LOT longer to travel on foot due to either slow walkers or maneuvering the stroller, etc. I would LOVE it if you all would make some videos that both point out strategic stroller parking (like central locations for a few attractions or BETTER places like near exits of attractions) because there is always excessive walking when you have to have a stroller. And I would also love it if you all would actually push a stroller around for a day-with or without an actual child. Haha. Just so it we can see a more realistic representation of time and places. I would greatly appreciate it!

First time at Disney and very first time using Genie + today. We parked at disney springs, Bus to Contemporary, monorail to MK. (Money saver hustle!) We fiddled and faddled and got on all the biggies before 6:00 pm, including snack breaks. So much fun and it really isn’t as scary as it seems at first. Thank you for all the help, tips and encouragement!!

Molly helped me make our kids first trip to Disney in 2021 so great. We went only weeks after Genie+ rolled out. I overheard so many people talking about how much they hated it. I loved it and I know it’s because of Molly’s tips! My kids didn’t even notice the little time I was on my phone and we got to do everything on our lists. We go again in a few weeks and I can’t wait to try out the modify feature! Also, I think it would be interesting for Mam Fam to do some videos on other parks/things to do in the Orlando area. The Titanic museum video was so interesting and gives me a possible short thing to do on one of our resort days outside of Disney.

I just went to Disney Land as part of a tour group. On the bus, I was trying to explain Genie Plus and fiddle faddling to some other families. They looked at me like I had 3 heads. But in the park, mid afternoon, on New Year's Eve, I fiddle faddled myself BTMR and was so proud of myself. I told my husband Molly would be so proud😂😂

OMG! This explanation of how Genie + works I have heard a dozen times from Molly BUT I keep needing to hear it so I know what the heck I'm doing once our trip comes up. THANK YOU MOLLY!!! (I miss the Fastpass paper tickets too!) I am sure our trip will be less stressful after being reminded of the rules of Genie +!!!

I just came back from Disney world! And watched this video before my trip. Because it was my very first time at Disney, you taught me ALOT!! Thank you! and please keep making great Disney videos so when I miss Disney, I can come here and watch them all!!!

Really important tip I learned on my last trip. If you book a lightning lane for a ride and the window expires without you riding it, it still counts as using it for that attraction. So if you realize you're about to miss your window for whatever reason, modify it to something else and book the original attraction later

I’d like to learn more about the best options for dining at Disney resorts on no parks days. Like which resorts you can have a good meal and maybe mill around the resort a while. Another random thought is that you should do a makeup tutorial because yours is flawless.

Love the TOT lobby tour magic moment. Haven't been fortunate enough to have that but we had our own moment of pixie dust in the autumn at the other end of the ride. I always stop to look at the photo ordering desk at the ride exit before the gift shop and was taking some pictures and the amazing cast member obviously spotted a fellow TOT nerd and told us all about the Easter eggs and the work recently done to reimagine that whole area. She asked if we wanted to see the merchandising folder which had all that information in and of course we took her up on that offer 😊 was a wonderful way to spend half an hour and learnt a bunch about the thought processes of the imagineers for that area. Highlight of my trip!

I’ll be tapped into a LL and booking the next while getting on the ride I’m currently tapped into. Best practice in my opinion. Can maximize your rides! Went on 6 rides within 2hrs at Magic Kingdom and still had time to get a waffle at Sleepy Hollow!
