I actually like that he still kept his job. He realized that all it took was trying some new things to make himself happy. He didn't have to quit his job and start some new life. All he had to do was eat some pancakes, talk to a woman, and swim in the ocean. Then, he has no problem going to work. It's about balance.
Animation principle: Appeal, it’s important to have your characters stand out from the rest, not just in personality but also in design. This also includes another principle, exaggeration, making a character’s certain features look much more pronounced than they normally are
I went travelling to South East Asia in 2019 and I ended up staying for over 2 years because of covid. I went from working in a boring office with some miserable people to teaching English to children in a popular beachside city. I used to watch RU-vid videos with them to illicit vocabulary at the end of the lesson and this was one of the videos I watched. It hit pretty hard. Although I eventually returned to that job for a few years in 2021, I am now a full-time, fully qualified English teacher. I actually really like teaching people.
This short is always a comfort zone for myself Everyone needs to just live a little bit and simply enjoy the moment whenever possible, doesn’t mean just abandon your responsibilities and make happiness your only ambition but finding ways that you can feel better and have a better outlook on your life

What a beautiful and awesome film. The message was, if I'm not mistaken...live your life to the fullest, never be afraid to do wild things, for you only live once, one life. Dont be like a robot doing the same thing every day, same routine, or you'll waste your whole life. The woman in the glasses stand... didn't she appeared in the movie Sausage Party?
Why can't people focus less on the lady and more on how well-made this Film is? It's 3D with the Look & Feel of 2D! I wish people Appreciated good content like this for everything other than the Stuff that Drives the Far Side of the Internet Wild.
..... Okay.... However, you know - in reality keeping a roof over those kids heads and maintaining that lifestyle is a lot easier when it's being funded by that steady income job he has... I can't imagine a seaside sunglasses salesperson making much of an overall annual income 😟. Life is expensive. You can't just up and quit in real life.
I want to add that this is what his brain was perceiving the world and the fact it literally was fighting with the heart to showcase how we've tended to be our own worst enemy and that we shouldn't give in to our fears and anxieties.
3:45 Poor shame, Brain, you should give Paul excitement, not do some boring office work because of the Brain Heart. It doesn't look happy. It feels sad when before you work with Paul in the office for the rest of the year, he'll die
