Not only that, but it seems they’re trying to invent a square wheel here….. They intend to retheme this to “The Princess & the Frog” … which means this ride would automatically have the Louisiana Bayou background theme added to it, right? Problem is … the current Splash Mountain ride is in Critter Country! So unless they plan to somehow connect this ride to New Orleans Square along with POTC & THM, it would make no sense to have such a rethemed aesthetic look completely tacky without being allowed to blend in with its ideal surroundings (ex: could you honestly picture a “Frozen” themed attraction sitting in the middle of Frontierland??)

Heck I hated it when they got rid of Snow White’s Scary Adventures in WDW, The Great Movie Ride, that awesome Illuminations night time show (what a fiasco that has been! 😝) and removed the beautiful Epcot fountains plus the background music. I don't have any grandchildren...but IF I did, we'd be going to Universal, Busch Gardens, and Gatorland instead!
