I found a video of Tower of Terror at Disney MGM Studios from 1998. Remember when is was only two drops!?! I originally shot the pre show in 4x3 widescreen. I blew it up to fill the screen so it didn't have that postage stamp look.
Thanks for watching the video! A little background on this channel, I am in the process of digitizing my old Hi8 videos. I have a bunch from Florida (and a few other places) and want to share them here. They brought back so many memories. I hope they do the same for you. Traveling In Hi8 FAQ:
1) What kind of camera did you have?
Video was shot with a Sony CCD-TRV65
2) Video is a little shaky. Didn't it have a stabilizer?
Yep, it's a bit shaky. I was using my trips to the parks to get a feel for the
camera. I don't believe it had a stabilizer on it.
3) Video sometimes looks dark. Did the camera have any filters?
It did, but I stunk at selecting the right one.

Thanks for posting this! I was down there and rode this in early April of 98, towards the end of My Senior year On a band trip/competition From East Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga. It was a heck of a send off for us seniors and we had an absolute ball there. Ive never liked falling rides, but the little b***h i was dating at the time was cute, and wanted to ride it, so i had too, LOL, and ending up loving it, (she dumped me 2 months later over the phone for guy she meet at a pool, hence the name calling, lol! ), But i was reading that they had added to it and changed it some and was trying to remember how it looked in 98, typed it in here not expecting to find one from that year and came across yours, Thanks again brought back some really awesome memories.

Hello I have a question. How did you passed the videos from the camera to the pc? I have Hi8 tapes from 98 and 99 and wanted to save it on pc. Thanks, I hope to receive answer.

I use the Diamond VC500 USB 2.0 VHS to DVD. I got it on Amazon. It seems to work pretty good and it’s easy to use. I don’t use the editing software that comes with it. I have a different program to edit the graphics and get them ready for RU-vid. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the channel!
