Yashae Byers, you just saw her performance and you got to be kidding she was the best? She ruined the whole performance being off tune and trying to out sing Christina Aguilera which out sang her with ease. Toni Braxton made fool out of herself on her own trying be a diva.

I was a drummer in this too! There's a close-up of me at 2:58. That's the extent of my television career. I was actually a backup drummer, but at the last second someone backed out, so I was in. It was a great memory, but as far as the show goes...ehhhh. lol. Definitely glad to have been a part of it though. I made my drum into a little table for my house. I bought one of the marching drums as well, but that's just sitting in my garage.

The only time they rehearsed the show was the Thursday night before the game where we did full dress rehearsals with the pyro (that fireball was hot), lighting, Epcot dancers (the puppets), and yes, the stars. Everyone was at that dress rehearsal...Except Christina. She had a stand-in. The first time I ever saw her was when the lights came up at 2:20 in this video, and the last time I ever saw her was as I was unplugging my drum and running to the tunnel to get off the field in time for the second half to start.

Edward James Olmos's narration was also prerecorded - all he did during the live show was stand in front of a backdrop that was identical to what he recorded his lines in front of earlier. The orchestra was actually playing (including Phil Collins actually playing drumset at 9:59 if you see it before the camera goes by) and apparently they were miced in the Dome, but they used the Disney Orchestra's recording of the pieces on TV. This basically sounds exactly like the rehearsal tape I had.

+Bobby Blackwolf You are absolutely right. I was the PA responsible for Enrique and Christina. While working with them, I was worried about how much blocking and choreography I should give them, but Enrique turned to me and said it doesn't really matter because we will be lip singing anyway. That's when it dawned on me that we would be using the recording for the actual show. Everyone was super awesome though. Super kind and sweet. Great show to cut my teeth on. I was a sophomore in college and I skipped a lot of classes to work on the show, but I was able to catch up. It kicked off an amazing career in production. But it did ruin me for "live" production. It's like seeing behind the curtain of the Wizard.

Also Christina is not tapping the mic the way she always does when she sings
