I love the platinum editions i am collecting all of them I have Bambi Peter Pan lady and the tramp 101 Dalmatians and jungle book and I just order Snow White last night from Amazon hoping to get it in a few days

Thanks I am having to resurface Peter Pan and lady and the tramp using a disk repair machine since I had them since I was three and I probably didn’t know what I was doing and messed them up even gave them new cases from the extras that I have laying around

And if watch that video in order of when I acquired those DVDs, I can tell you that The Little Mermaid was my very first Disney Platinum Edition DVD that I owned and that Lady and the Tramp was the DVD that I needed to complete that collection. Furthermore, it's also been more than a year since I completed as I stated before.

I have all of the ones available on blu-ray also. You can usually find Snow White new and sealed on eBay for pretty cheap now if you decide to keep the Platinum collection in tact.

I am not sure why they didn't do a slip for it. It is a thick case and maybe they thought it would be too big to create a slipcover for it.

I was lucky enough to find a DVD copy of the Snow White Platinum Edition at a reasonable price, so now I have the entire collection, as well. :)

I am not sure what the logic was, as they continued releasing these Classics with different names. Platinum, Diamond, Signature collection.

I just need 3 more because I ordered little mermaid Aladdin and lion king from Amazon Saturday night got lion king in today little mermaid is tomorrow than Aladdin is Thursday I only need Cinderella sleeping beauty and beauty and the beast and then it will be completed

I never got any my Disney Platinum Edition DVDs online because of a store in Salem, NH that sold used DVDs called Bull Moose Music.

I have Snow White in the platinum edition, and mine does come with a slipcover. I don’t know how since everyone else I’ve seen on RU-vid does not have a slipcover for theirs. I got mine on eBay and I was surprised that it actually came with a slip cover because Disney originally did not release it with a slip cover. I also have Lady and the tramp in platinum edition, sleeping beauty, The little mermaid, and beauty and the beast. I would love to have 101 dalmatians in platinum edition. All the other ones I have are either signature collection, or diamond additions. I have a Little bit of each addition I guess.

Yeah so it turns out my snow white DVD was a fake. But I got the real one. The case looks very different from the fake. It’s a lot nicer.

I fortunately was able to collect these as they were released, I think I sold my Snow White copy but I ended up getting it on Bluray, other than that I own all of these as well, I wasn't sure how many were in this collection but thanks for letting us know how many are in the Platinum set.

Nice collecton :) the only platinum edition I own is the lion king I got a brand new copy at Amoeba music in Hollywood for $15 :) now the thing is my copy on the sealing had a buena vista stamp but it was yellow and it had 2 so do u know if yellow buena vista stamps are real or not? :) but it had all 3 security tabs :)

I was collecting these and stopped after 101 Dalmatians because I felt that it might go on forever. I ended up giving away half of them since they weren't really favorites to me. Now a lot of them are on bluray and the cycle continues. Are you buying them on bluray?

Nice video! Besides, I didn't know that you also made a separate video showing these Disney Platinum Edition DVDs until I found this.
