Disney Restaurant Review: Tiffins Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom! | Walt Disney World

We went to Tiffins (from the UK) to celebrate a very significant birthday back in 2018 but the experience was spoilt by their inability to seat a party of 12 together (even though we booked 180 days in advance and noted on the booking and mentioned at check-in). They couldn't have been less interested in resolving the situation. Maybe the Conservation room would work for large parties!

Tiffins or Nomad Lounge is a must for us every trip. We love them both. We have eaten in all three of the rooms at Tiffins and enjoyed them all. I've eaten there solo as well as with my adult son. I've never had a bad meal or experience at Tiffins or Nomad Lounge.

Great review as always! I'm very conflicted about Tiffins. We ate there once about 3 years ago. The food was fantastic, but our server was terrible - probably the worst service we'd had at WDW in years, if ever. She disappeared multiple times for 30 minutes or more. Our drinks didn't arrive until after we'd eaten our appetizer and half way through our entrees (and only after we flagged down a food runner to help us). Water was never refilled. It took a good 45 minutes to receive and settle up our check. The meal took nearly three hours. Now, we appreciate a slow paced meal, but this was ridiculous. I know that's not the norm, and who knows what might have been going on with her that evening, but it doesn't change our experience. Nor does it lessen the amount of money we paid for that meal. We've not been back, though I don't rule it out as the food is wonderful, but pricey as you noted. We do go to Nomad Lounge almost every time we are at AK though. We grab the Tiffin's bread service there and share several apps for lunch (gotta finish with those churros!).

You are so right about the amount of beef Deni. Anywhere I have ordered short ribs the plate always arrives with a few. It sounds delicious, but they should have increased the portion😢

Deni, I ate there once a long time ago and they gave us a sketch made by Joe Rhode that I still have today! It was a special treat that made the evening more memorable. I do recall that it was not as vegetarian friendly at the time, but maybe things changed since then so long ago...

Tiffins/Nomad are for sure in my top 5 Disney restaurants ❤🎉 I especially love their soup and bread service!

Anything animal kingdom related is my favorite content. Regardless tiffins is a good restaurant I do think the portions tend to be on the smaller side at times

My boyfriend went to Tiffins maybe 5 years ago (pre-virus) and it was fabulous! Both the food and the service. We will definitely be back some day. I loved the octopus appetizer but being Italian American and my boyfriend being Puerto Rican American we were very familiar with octopus and squid. We love it!
