Disney's All Star Sports resort has finally reopened after over 2 years, and with that, now ALL Walt Disney World resort hotels are finally reopened! Join us for a full tour of the newly reopened resort on its grand reopening weekend! I give you a room tour of an un-refurbished room, full tour of the resort, showing off its fun and DISNEY-fied theming, take a swim in the pool, play games in the arcade, get made into Marvel superheroes, eat lunch, dinner and breakfast in the End Zone Food Court, including a full pizza for the room and Mickey waffles for breakfast! We talk about value resorts at Walt Disney World and the memories and nostalgia of the All Star resorts and have a really magical stay at this fun budget Disney resort hotel! I love the All Star Sports Resort. I stayed there in 1994 which was the year the resort opened. I stayed there because I am a voice actor and I had just narrated a new ride for Walt Disney World and now that ride has been there just as long as the All Star Resorts have been there!

Jackie you’re killing it in 2022! Those road trip vlogs were phenomenal and now you come back with some old school Disney that brings back so many memories. I totally agree. These resorts make you really feel like you are in disney. Even if I was rich I don't think I'd stay in the deluxe or moderate resorts. I think they are lovely hotels but they are too much like ordinary nice hotels for my taste. The theming in the budget resorts makes me feel like I'm in the real disney bubble

Loved seeing the old style rooms. My wife and I honeymooned at All Star Music way back in 96. And I’m old enough to remember $49 AP rates at the All Stars. They will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for sharing Jackie. Always have

It really was a “Blast to the Past” to see the Olde School, non-refurbished room! Definitely takes one back to long-ago, simpler days when family trips were fun and affordable. Yes, I agree, the modern rooms have more amenities, but there still is a wonderful Charm to the old-style rooms. It’s nice that things are nearby and the food court also had a Nostalgic feel to it. The value resorts definitely have more of a cartoon whimsical feel. I agree. The Riviera Resort is nice but it seems like a Hilton with Disney posters in the lobby

To be fair, the Riviera is probably the worst example of a Disney hotel in terms of theming. Nothing like, say, the Wilderness Lodge.

When I was little we used to stay at the All Star Music. The old rooms with the star lamps in the early 2000's are a core memory! Great to see the old style of rooms still exist.

There’s something about the nostalgic vibe of the All Stars & Pop Century. The refurbished rooms are def nicer - but think of it this way, this may the last “old style” room you’ll ever see & now you’ll never forget it! 😁 A nice way to flashback to pre-pandemic times too! Can’t wait for more travel adventures!

I stayed here when I went to Disney World on a field trip in high school, so this is definitely giving me all the nostalgia too!! I just remember having so much fun at this resort!

I appreciate your videos and your Disney spirit so much. I'm a Mom of 2 and there is so much pressure to get the best hotel and buy everything. Your videos are so helpful and this one especially made me reconsider staying at one of the All Star Resorts. At the end of the day, the kids aren't going to know the difference in money spent but they will enjoy many of the things you showed in this video. I look forward to hearing your future cost saving tips and the bright light you shine on not just Disney but all of the hotels and experiences.

Exactly and I agree! I see so much pressure to do everything big and expensive and it’s just not necessary to have a good time! Even when I do my Magic Kingdom videos, I tend to focus on the simple, old school fun that’s still there to be had.

Jackie I totally agree with everything you said! I grew up going to the All Stars in the 90s and early 2000s. I have so many memories of breakfast at the food court and playing in the pool with my parents. They have so much personality and are the epitome of what a Disney hotel should be. This video was SO MUCH FUN! I love All Star Sports - stayed there three or four times. Recently stayed at AS Music and had a refurbished room. The bathroom is a really nice upgrade with all of the cubbies. There was a nice coffee setup. Wish they kept a bit of the nostalgia though.

I always enjoy your videos, but this one was excellent. May be it was feeling the nostalgia? I have never stayed here, we have always been lucky enough to stay at a moderate or deluxe hotel, but during our last visit we did visit pop and realised we could save some pennies and still have a great trip. Not a fan of generic rooms, I want Disney theming. Watched some videos of the new toy story hotel in Japan. Oh my days they know how to integrate it all in to the experience. Keep having fun

Thanks Jackie bringing us on this retro room. I miss those rooms. I don't like the murphy bed in the room. After a long day at the park, who wants to add another second and bring down the bed. My friend's kid hate the murphy bed. I remember calling Disney a few years back, when they first started to redo the rooms and I requested just two beds at Pop and she told me all the value will have murphy beds. I believe the carpet yes needs to go. The new rooms feel like non Disney. The older rooms feel like I'm in Disney. Thanks Again.

It’s nice to see one of the old style rooms but we stayed at Pop Century after the refurbishment and I loved it. I like the clean “sterile” look 😂😁. There are more amenities too in the new rooms ( at least that’s how it feels to me). We’re also from Miami originally and we also used to come up on short weekend trips and All Star 🌟 Resorts were our go to. Remember a k when they were $89 a night? Another great vlog Jackie! 👍🏻❤️🙂

I cried seeing this, I lost both my parents within a year of each other due to covid last year. My childhood memories with Mom and Dad were here and I can remember every excited moment standing with them as a child here. We are taking our 5 year old next year and I hope I can snag a non renoed room for old times sake, I am so excited to share this with my own child and I’ll try to not cry lol

Sports had been our go to for almost 20 yrs. We use to get a room for $100/night! Our favorite rooms are down by baseball with its own pool.

I’m so happy all the resorts are back open! I’m a 2018 Pop Century Front Desk CP and I know how much joy the value resorts bring to families and all kinds of guests. The rooms are small and cozy but the whole entire resort is so fun and amazing to look at 💕
