Saw you mentioning the garden rooms. We actually got to stay in one for our honeymoon in August 2019. It was amazing! The only downside was only being able to access the room from the outside. Made for a frantic run to our room in the rain.
Beautiful suite! Seeing rooms like this just shows plush carpet can be elegant. While I understand the modern sleek look of hardwood or laminate, carpet if maintained and replaced when necessary gives a luxurious comfort that hard surfaces simply cannot. JMO
I’ve owned my DVC at the Boardwalk since 1996 & it looks like everything has changed!!! Nothing is original at all!!! It used to be more cozy, with the Disney Magic through out the whole Villa!!! It’s totally different now & looks cheap… The bathrooms have all been redone also & they used to have a nice big 2 person jacuzzi, instead of a free standing bathtub… But, the bathroom shower area is nicely updated so, that’s nice… I really cannot believe how much the villa’s have changed!!! I don’t like it though, they took away the wonderful homey feel it used to have… Also, what your showing there is, your checking out 2 lock off rooms!!! Where is the large full kitchen, with everything you would need, with full appliances, like large fridge, dishwasher, stove with oven & large micro over the oven??? Everything you would expect & need to use in a full kitchen, like a toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes & silverware, glasses & coffee mugs, even a large pitcher to make iced tea in if you wanted, etc. It would all be in the kitchen area because, the kitchen you have there is only the efficiency mini kitchen & not what you would get if it was a true 2 or 1 bedroom Villa… So, it’s not a full 2 bedroom Villa!!! Oh well… 🤷♀️
Looks like that one was remodeled in the 2000's. I guess some people like paying lots of money to stay in their mothers spare bedroom. ha What's up with the shower head being on the short wall? I take it the guest that stay at BWI are old and need to lean on the wall while they take a shower. Ha Ha I'm a contractor and build homes in Houston, so it's just funny to see people who like stuff we would consider something that we would have to remodel in order to sell. Haha
