The Riviera is beautiful, but it was cold when we stayed there, so this is great to see the pools, beach we never went in the pool areas. Love that slide! Very nice quiet pool! The kids area is so cute! Thanks for the tour!

Well, I'm not sure if all activities are open but on my channel, you can check out the vids I have on food there, as well as the tour and also the activities... the Eventi Room had painting and wine tasting sessions... it had lego car races... the outdoor main lawn had life sized soccer billiards which was awesome... lawn bowling, big Chess board... they have a very nice outdoor bocci court... gelato by the pool is fun... walking around the loop through Caribbean Beach is a nice walk... the food at Riviera is awesome... loved the breakfasts and the burgers and the steak the most... Topolino's is a must do for breakfast and dinner... Skyliner is the best mode of transport (in my opinion)... they have wonderful specialty coffees and treats in Le Petit Cafe... and the pool is gorgeous with it's 90 degree angles... I miss it :(

It was a very luxurious, comfortable property... we loved it! Oh, yes, my son still says the Poly's Volcano pool is his fave at Disney World! Riviera, Beach and Animal Kingdom are our homes... but like you, we just love staying everywhere! ha ha...

Thanks for the video. I'm not sure about Riviera Resort. It just does not feel very Disney to me. Mind you I thought the same about the Contemporary before we stayed and I loved it
Everyone will think about it in their own way... you say it didn't feel very Disney but it depends on your own perception of what 'very Disney' is... being surrounding by Walt's pictures, paraphernalia, the artwork of characters everywhere, the magical character dining, the breathtaking views, the Skyliner, the murals, the themed pool and s'il vous play area... all speaks volumes of Disney to me... maybe not Mickey Mouse Disney, but the beauty is that the parks and everything else are all around you... like a wonderful escape to a European luxury in the heart of all things Disney... loved it! Yeah, Contemporary is a great example... maybe even less 'Disney' than Riviera... but still exudes Disney in its own ways... I do love the Disney offers options and properties to meet everyone's needs... Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Thanks for watching! Yes, the resort has an activity lawn area which does have the movies under the stars and a fire pit... there were no pool activities like 'organized games' such as at many resorts but they do have poolside bean-bag toss and a large connect four game (both within the fencing around the pool). They had a poolside Gelato cart..... and in the morning, kids can race speed boats (remote control) in the pool and then 'open' the pool with the lifeguards... there were lawn games just outside the pool, inflatable billiards (played like soccer on a pool table), blocks and large chess board... they also offered car racing in the Eventi room... kids build their cars and then race them down a gravity-based track... we love the resort! These pools appear to be standard rectangular-shaped concrete pools. Not sure about your “infinity” description, as neither the feature pool nor adult pool have anything resembling an actual infinity edge. There also don’t appear to be any cabanas to rent, which is equally disappointing. Hopefully the rest of the hotel makes up for an underwhelming pool area.
Thanks for your comment and thoughts... I actually found the rectangular shaped areas of pool to be very aesthetically appealing... and as per my description, the feature pool had an "infinity like feel to it" in my opinion... despite not being an infinity pool... regarding the quiet pool, again, as stated, "infinity type edge" in that the water level was right up to the pool curb with no distance unfilled.... which is just my opinion on how it looked and felt... no, there are no rental cabanas at this resort... but many deluxe resorts do not have rental cabanas... I do believe the pools and resort are gorgeous at Riviera... check out my Riviera Resort Tour video and let me know your thoughts, opinions, criticisms...
