Disney Store Jasmine & Rapunzel Ballerina Princess Doll Review 

I'm a titled professional ballerina (trained as one would to go into ballet professionally but never auditioned for a company) anyhow, I really appreciate that the ribbons on their pointe shoes are tied around the ankle (which is the correct placement) it always bothered me when pointe shoe ribbons were shown tied up all the way up the calf and behind the knee, that drives me insane! So when I saw your review for this I was pleasantly surprised! Someone knows a little ballet at disney!!!

I absolutely love that the disney store did a remake of their past Disney princess ballerina lines 😻 I love them all honestly. I hope you do the rest soon. I really hope disney releases Aurora as a ballerina since the music from sleeping beauty is from the Ballet.

I'm so excited for these dolls!! Even though Jasmin's legs bow I'm definitely going to buy them, it's a kink that Disney can work out. I'm hoping they will be really popular and Disney store might consider giving all their classic dolls this articulation, budget lines like last years Hasbro Royal Shimmer can have bend and snap then get rid of 5 point articulation all together 🤞

I LOVE these, they are so reminiscent of the good 'ol days when Disney Princess dolls would branch out to different concepts. The outfits and presentation take my back to the early 00's when Mattel had the rights. I'm sooo hoping we get a 2nd series, ft. Ariel, Pocahontas, Tiana, Aurora, etc. I also wish they had a stand, but for $20 it's still a beautiful decent doll. If Mattel released a doll like this today, it would be $75 or something. I can't wait to find these dolls! Also, I love that you pointed out about that terrible hair product. I get its to keep the shape of their hair but it also ruins the quality of it for most of their dolls. Disneystore doesn't have the best hair quality, only having silky soft hair for Ariel. But unless you're a adult who is careful with theit dolls, or don't know what you're doing they can ruined easily. I also wash out the product and their hair is pretty manageable. I just wish it wasn't always the case, and they just left the doll hair as is.

OMG! Forget about Rapunzel or Jasmine, Pascal is the best thing in here!

I hope they make more dolls in this line and hopefully redo the princess pajama party series too. I totally agree with everything about Jasmine.

I’ve never been a fan of the Disney store Rapunzel’s ( there’s something about the eyes and face I don’t like? ) but the outfits are gorgeous.

I really love the Rapunzel doll in both her outfits. I really want the Rapunzel and Cinderella dolls.

I got them both, Rapunzel is perfect, her hair and dress are amazing. I had to customize Jasmine a bit, I washed and restyled her hair, kept it open with the front sections gathered below her hair and I cut the plastic straps. I didn't like Jasmine's second outfit. I am waiting for Belle and Cinderella to show up as well.

My daughter is going to be insisting on that Rapunzel. Tho I like dolls with "flirty eyes" (looking to the side like Bratz), I agree on their eyes being forward giving much more role play to kids. I wish they had stuck with Jasmines signature colours for her second outfit. Rapunzel's second outfit is my favourite as it sticks with her colour theme and is nicely shaped.

My gosh this is kicking me in the nostalgia. I remember when I would get the modern Disney Princess dolls for Christmas, and I remeber getting outfit packs and everything. This packaging reminds me of those dolls a lot

Hmmm... the dolls are pretty, but I think each doll should have done something related to their own culture, especially Jasmine wearing something that's related to her cultural dances.

This might just be my own opinion but I actually _prefer the glue in the hair_ . I never like how frizzy the hair becomes once you brush or wash the glue out. I think the glue already shaping the hair nicely (as for example in a 1930s or 1920s hair) is really convenient (at least to me). However I hold my doll(s) and pose them for pictures, I don't need to fear some unwanted strands or hair falling into the face or whatever. Again, solely my own opinion though

I really love Jasmine outfit ! It doesn't look like a ballerina outfit in my opinion but it looks like a GORGEOUS version of her Princess outfit ! I'm obsess by this pant ♥...♥ ! ! ! But how are her feets ? Flat or "barbic" ? (I want to know because when Disney Princesses have flat feets, it's very difficult to make them wear Barbie heels...) Rapunzel is cute ! Her outfits are AMAZING ! Hasbro would never make a doll with REAL ribbons :') ...that's why I love so much the Disneystore dolls, the quality is not amazing, but it's a good quality ! (event Mattel can't do detailed outfits like that nowadays - with - accessories !!!)

I have my rapunzel ballerina doll and I was a little disappointed the hair could of been better the articulation is good but she can’t sit and a few lose joints but the head joint is great the legs could of been better instead of having the upper leg made of plastic and the lower leg made of vinyl makes the lower leg bow a bit but for me she is great for the price but being rapunzel I would of like to have had a better quality head of hair

Jasmine's first outfit does closely resemble her look in the film but also sticks to her peacock motif which is great. But I was disappointed with the second look. 😓

It's just the cheap nylon hair they use. if Disney would spend a bit more money on using saran hair or even kanekalon they would be amazing. I mean they can afford to do that.

Officially Disney has become better than Barbie, seriously the new barbies and well everything mattel does has been not even half the quality they did before 10 years... So disappointing, And it's even more frustrating knowing that this is like normal Disney you know the normie stuff, and they are better than the head doll of the Barbie movie.... Is it just me or do they seem cheaply made? The quality of the outfits seems to be low, which is disappointing. I was really expecting more from this line. Maybe it is new outfits that are throwing me off. They should have made new ones in the ballet style that do not resemble the original ones
