@@gracjanlekston134 I will practicley never underztand why people think you must hate something to like another. That's why I don't join in on some fan argument over movies. I state my preference but still give something else a place in likes. I think it's basicle pleesing fans and being part of a group. Again I don't join hate fans.
The best part about Tangled is that their love story feels more real. It is not love at first sight. Both people are imperfect. And there is a lot of give and take. Oh, and self sacrifice.
And that is why Tangled grossed more than 1,150 billion dollars..........no wait that was Frozen, a true Disney animation masterpiece!!!(After Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin ofcourse)
KALIMAindia So it's based on money? God, you're as shallow as Michael Bay. No, it's not a true masterpiece. It has a ton of flaws and did not stick to a true Disney formula. The comedy was weak and I was more sad for Sven (apparently) dying than Anna, because they did the scene completely WRONG. The lack of any noise or music in the background just made Elsa's sobbing stand out awkwardly, and thus it got rid of any emotion! Tangled, on the other hand, did these things right. I cannot express it enough when I say that Frozen is ridiculously overrated and this ridiculously overpopulated fandom really needs to die down, or at least give Tangled the same amount of credit.
Yes, and Tangled didn't have too much focus on what flawed it. It had a few flaws, granted, but Frozen had a TON more. Olaf wasn't even necessary and I just found him annoying. Sven was the perfect comedy relief, he didn't need to be poorly accented by an irritating snowman. And the focus wasn't even on the right character. Elsa should have been focused upon, not Anna. The results of the rewrite of the original script included making the story choppy, the focus unclear at points, and the ending seeming just too convenient. It had far too much going on, three different stories! Tangled only had two, and that's why it was better. It successfully rounded it up in the end without being overly convenient. Frozen forced the plots to collide like a few out-of-control cruise liners.
Lightning The J72 Every single human have different opinions......I respect them and yours..... In my opinion...I think Frozen is far better than Tangled which frankly dissapointed me.........
@@sandcastle6520 Real! I want to thank the casting director for their incredible job of finding the perfect voices for each of these characters. I love it!
AGREED Tangled ALL the way. I mean that film fucking makes me cry and laugh everytime. Plus Tangled had more of a story and it had a backstory. 10/10 goes to Tangled. Here comes the smoulder Im a disnerd and hardcore Tangled fan for life. AND im 22 years old and a female.
I know the songs by heart its that kind of movie that makes you happy by just seeing it, plus Eugene is defo the most handsome of all. Good to know im not the only that thinks that, Frozen has been getting to much of the "best disney movie" as if Tangled never happend. Im 19 but i dont think i can ever outgrow my Disney obsession lol
Tangled for me is very heartwarming indeed. I do like Frozen but for me I will always love Tangled because it has Mandy Moore in it whom I am a fan of for 15 years,Alan Menken is a fucking genius,I grew a crush on Zachary Levi, the animation is flawless, the story is brilliant. Overall Tangled gets an A+ and out of 10 a 10/10. Tangled for the world.
Met Zach at Comic Con in 2010. I told him "Saw the Tangled trailer. Recognized you right away. That's gonna be great" He just let out a roar of happy laughter and said "Thanks". I said "I love Chuck, but voicing a Disney film man? Now you've really arrived". "Damn straight" he told me. "One day I'm gonna be lumped in with all the old classics we grew up like Aladdin. It's an honor and it was a blast" He made me promise to see it in theaters. I kept my word.
As much as I love frozen, there are so many similarities to tangled that i can't even count, their both amazing though, however tangled will always be my favorite
Oh come on Dean; Tangled followed Rapunzel (minus the prince as the prince in this is a theif,Gothel wants to be young again, whereas the witch in the original wasn't obessed with being young) while Frozen(suppose to be based off The Snow Queen didn't). I love both films really I do but there is something about Tangled that I loved it more no its not because of Mandy Moore(whom i've been a fan of since 1999),its just that Tangled had a better story and development than Frozen.
Lines I've quoted from this: "Hay fever? Yeah" "They still can't get my nose right!" "All the things we've seen and it's only eight in the morning!" "Wo-hoa, I have got to get me one of these!"
I finally have a 5 year old that I got to introduce this film to. It’s not new in 2021...but it was for our whole family. It’s such a wonderful movie. Thank you everyone involved. It’s timeless & sweet and it will last for ages to come. You’ve been immortalized in the best possible way.
I got Tangled one day around the time it came out and I rewatched millions of times. I know basically every line and song by heart but I'll never stop watching Tangled. I'm 21 almost 22. This movie will forever be my favorite Disney movie and Rapunzel my favorite Disney princess
this is so me. I think this is the movie I have rewatched the most throughout my entire life, watched it with my sister when it first came out and am also almost 22 now. Best disney movie in my opinion!!!
Agree! It’s undoubtedly and by far the most beautiful and romantic scene Disney ever created! I absolutely LOVED the colors used with the indigo background and the lights twinkling like stars. Also the part she actually touches her parents’ lantern 🥺 The only thing that would’ve made it absolutely perfect was if they kissed! Still pretty agitated they didn’t 😩
I was literally 6 yrs old when I first watch Tangled and bruh I loved up until now that I'm 17 yrs old I still loved this movie it's forever my favourite Disney princess
When you find out that this is 10 years old Me: By god I was 19 when I saw this film and boy did I love it so. I have everything from this film e.g. dolls, jumper,CD,DVD,mugs etc. Loved everything about this film. Happy anniversary Tangled.
tangled has always held a very special place in me heart. i saw the movie in theaters the day it came out. i was 3 years old ( i’m 14 almost 15 ) & after i watched it i immediately fell in the with the movie. i wanted to grow my hair out 70 feet like rapunzel & whoever came in & out of our house had to use my hair & go out the window like rapunzel did in her tower. i would go EVERYWHERE with a plastic frying pan that i had because i had a fake kitchen & a bunch of plastic food & kitchen ware. i was rapunzel for halloween in 2011 & i begged my mom to let me wear my costume every single day while i watched tangled, every single day. i know a bunch of facts about the movie, the day it came out, every single song & about 65% of the lines in the film. i’m seriously the biggest tangled fan lol
Tangled will always be the best, I have nothing against Frozen, I like it too but Tangled will always have a special place in my heart and will always be the best. I just love tangled so much. ❤️
Great movie. I watched it when I was 14 on Christmas Eve. And this movie moved me a lot. Great story Hats off to film makers Nathan Greno and Byron Howard. And even voice actors Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi.
Man watching this now makes me feel old. Zachary is in Shazam and now 40 in September Mandy is back doing music and married again to Taylor Goldsmith (as she was married to Ryan Adams back in 2010 when Tangled came out). Also she's 36 now in April. Hilarious how Mandy was 26 years old when she did Tangled and Zac was 30 . These two need to star in another film together Better yet have Zac guest star in This Is Us.
Flynn's death in this movie is my favourite because it is so realistic ( apart from the golden glow from his stomach) like in reality people get stabbed and would die like that
why do people always feel the need to compare tangled with frozen? for y'all saying it should be recognised more, then stop bringing up frozen in every tangled video and talk about THIS movie and where credit is due instead of arguing or shining more unnecessary light on frozen (god that's the third time I've said that movie's name). I find tangled to be a memorable modern classic by Disney - not only does it have the titles of being 50th and the first "CGI" film but it certainly lives up to its expectations. It's simple but complex, and that's how good story-telling is. The elements added are interesting and not too many to make it confusing, they corporate unique scenes, cinematography and characters PLUS step away from the stereotypical Disney. That and much much more makes this one of my fave Disney movies ever and one I can rewatch anytime. It's a breath of fresh air in a time where it's all about cash grabs (like in the case of previously mentioned other movie). It paves way for and shows that if you want to make quality material, all it takes is dedication and love for what you're producing.
Mandy Moore was superb playing the villain next to Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries. Mandy danced beautifully! total coordination with the music, very tight! Her performance of 'Stupid Cupid' was also great. Anne Hathaway was just a teenager, it was her debut movie. (2001) I use that movie to help me learn Russian. (set the subtitles to English and the speech to Russian. DVD Set Up)
I didn’t even know who Zach Levi was when I first saw Tangled. But ever since I saw him with Tom Hiddleston in Nerd HQ, I’ve loved him and I’ve watched everything he’s been in. He is so appreciative of his fans, just like Tom H. They’re the sweetest men, not to mention hot!
i wish there was a version of the film when it's just them in their booths playing their characters i've always wanted to see the whole process especially when it's zach as flynn lol
