Disney Very Merrytime Cruise Week Day 4! | Day At Sea, Dinner At Remy & Water Slide Fun!

Today’s vlog is day 4 of our Disney Very Merrytime Cruise Week! This is our day at sea before returning to Castaway Cay tomorrow. We had so much fun and packed so many things into this day! We started with breakfast at the Royal Court and then we saw some very festive Christmas characters around the ship! We met Santa and heard Mrs. Claus reading a holiday story. Then we head out onto the pool deck and have more splash pad fun and we finally get to ride the Aquaduck water coaster!! IT was awesome but the water was pretty cold. Worth it tho!! Then while Jackson was sleeping, our friend and Jenn get to try out a mixology class at the Skyline Lounge. It was $25 and it was about 45 minutes and we sampled 5 drinks. In the past they would allow you to make the drinks but things were a little different the time. I don’t think I would take the class again but it was neat to try it out. Then we head back to pool deck before dinner and watch a little Toy Story 3. After Jackson went down to sleep for the night, we get ready for our fancy dinner at Remy. It was such an amazing experience! We will definitely be booking it again on our next cruise and we want to try out the Remy brunch too. We had the 5 course prix fixe menu and it was $125 dining charge per person. We also added the wine pairing for Jenn, which was an additional $105 per person. It was a tailored wine experience and I highly recommend it. The dinner was absolutely amazing and totally worth the price. The service was fantastic and although it was very fancy, the server made us feel very comfortable when asking questions, it was a really wonderful experience. I hadn't ridden the Aquaduck by the second day and didn't want to wait 'til day 3 because that was the sea day and it would be insane. So I came back early-ish from Castaway Cay and went to ride it. I don't do well on stairs so I didn't want to hold up the line up so it was great that it wasn't crowded. Started chatting with the girl in front of me (she was 11) and she'd been on it many times. I asked about the "landing". Like was it a little wading pool thing, deep water plunge etc. My legs are weak and I didn't want everyone laughing at me trying to stand up at the bottom but she explained that it shouldn't be a problem. So I rode the ride and when I went to get off at the bottom, the girl was there in case I needed help getting out of the landing zone. I thought that was so sweet.

I cannot get over how Tim’s ability to describe food has transformed over the years. I am so impressed with how he did describing and analysing the dinner. Tim now vs. Tim 8-10 years ago - he’s the same guy but really settled into himself. Also - Jenn is amazing as always!

Now that dinner looked amazing but … the whole idea of rats cooking made it hard for me to even watch the movie…😋. Seriously, thanks for showing us so much of your special evening. I couldnt help but feel a huge sense of pride when Jenn enjoyed that glass of Dom Perignon. I was off today and spent it binging their vlogs from 2011, and gosh now just to see how far they've come and how successful they are just made me so happy for them! Couldnt have happened to better people :) love you Trackers!!!

That was a fabulous day I must say! The ocean looks so beautiful and how blue it is. Remy's looks so delicious and wonderful. My hubby and I have never been on a cruise but watching these vlogs we are wanting too.

That was so nice of our server to cut up Jackson's pancake for him - I hope he ended up eating some of it. How totally cool that Santa knew Jackson's name, I'd slip out if he knew mine when I got there, for sure! :) Loved watching you ride Aqua Duck, and love it even more that you rode it together! SO enjoyed watching Jackson having fun - playing in the splash pad and play area, eating ice cream, etc. Made my heart happy. :). That mini golf course is themed so cute!! Glad you guys had a nice time, and enjoyed Remy so much, especially since it was to celebrate Jenn's birthday. Wouldn't be my thing, especially not for that price, but each to this own, which is very nice. :) Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

I am just fascinated on how Remy's was! The way they presented all the dishes and how they looked was crazy good! I mean......I'm totally blown away how everything looked. That wasn't even a 5 star restaurant. More like 10 star restaurant! I wish I should've stuck with being a cook after going to school for it

Everyone always feels like the fancier restaurants won't be filling, but they always have so many courses that it's just like eating a normal dinner. Definitely think Jenn said it best when she started to say she could have a full plate of something, and then stopped and said she couldn't because of how rich it is; that's why the plates are so small. You get the experience without it being overpowering. And it seems like the solminer was fantastic.

It doesn’t take a lot to make me emotional, but Santa knowing Jackson’s name hit the feels hard! I am blown away by the attention paid to the guests on this cruise. Even the server cutting up Jackson’s pancake isn’t a level of service you get on every cruise. Even though this isn’t the traditional Disney experience compared to the theme parks, you still get that level of Disney care.

Remy is my all-time favorite place! We were on your same cruise and went to Remy that evening as well for my birthday! I too had the wagu and thought the same as you. I just didn't like it and was surprised. Everything else was amazing. Thank you for the video of my meal..LOL! Great to have a visual memory too!

Also, when you get into higher-end beers, liquors, wines, etc., there is a dramatic difference. During the alcohol classes, sampled the good stuff and wow.. That Palo meal looks absolutely worth it. And, that wine pairing is an amazing deal, especially if customized to what you like.

I'd totally sign up for that alone. And the mixology class. Beautiful ship, wonderful food, fantastic service, holiday magic, all with a phenomenal family. Can't ask for anything better.

Just wow. Loved seeing Jackson running in the water and eating ice cream, that is the life. Glad Jenn got to do her slide. That dinner looked so good. Reminded me of V&A's. I love a good curated wine flight and cheese journey. We ate at Cali. Grill in the before times and I asked about a wine flight. Our server said they didn't have one then came back and said the chef was going to curate one for me. My son wasn't in a wine mood so the server had the bar tender curate a drink flight for him. It was perfect. Oh, and sometimes a guy has to do a Santa dance.

My husband and I made sure that we rode the Aqua Duck the second day that we got on board after visiting Castaway Cay. It was perfect since we already had our beach clothes on. We totally enjoyed it!
