I think u may have caught a “Mandela Effect” with Donald Duck his hat wasn’t white it’s blue and he has a red bow tie not black or they just had him wearing something different in the boxing clip
It's a custom device. It's a Coffee can with raw hide covering the top of can with a string (made of unknown material) stretched through the raw hide. The string was connected between the bottom of the can and the other side of the device.
