The castle and It's A Small World are stunning. DCA has a completely different vibe and looks retro whereas Disneyland is Americana and fantasy. I've never been to either during the Christmas holiday...hope to someday!
Love when you occasionally talk about ride wait times and what are good vs bad wait times for each ride because it varies so much. Do you have a video walking through the park talking about each ride specifically? If not, I'd love one! Trying to prep for my trip in a couple months and it's been so long since I've been to Disney, I don't really know what to expect anymore.
I have this one. It’s not a walk-around, but it covers every ride. A bit outdated. I will be redoing it at the beginning of the year. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9rCMmY7JKi0.html
Nice video, good information, thanks for sharing the link. But I would LOVE a video where you talk about each ride and give your recommendation/opinion on good or bad wait times. You've done it a little bit in some of your videos, but I'd love the whole spread in one video. Like which rides are a 40 minute wait time "don't walk...run" or a "no way, not worth your time for that ride". Thanks! Love your content!
@@laurendavis4402 Excellent suggestion! I’ll be redoing the Ride Guide for 2024 and I’m looking for ways to make it different from the 2023 guide. So I’ll be sure to incorporate ideal wait times for each attraction in my overview. The video should be out early to mid January.
My husband and I just got home from taking some of his family for a big trip. We went the week before thanksgiving it was everyone’s first time but me. My first time at Christmas though and this reminded me so much of my last two days in the park me and my hubby ditched the rest of our family because it was our anniversary and we got all rides we wanted in and just strolled the parks looking at shops. My goal one day is to be an annual pass holder because we love Disney so much. Thank you for this video, now every time I miss the Christmas lights and sounds at Disneyland I can watch this ❤ Your videos helped us plan a very successful trip. Thank you for everything you do!
Thank you. This was great. My sister and I went the week after Thanksgiving to see this and will definitely share this video with my other 2 sisters who wanted but could not come with us. Love your channel and the content. Happy holidays ❤😊
My girlfriend and I had been watching your videos to help with our Disneyland planning, and lo and behold, we saw you and your family on that day November 20th. When you were getting off it’s a small world, and on Main Street before the 3:30 parade 😊
Hey mate! I’m a single female travelling to Disneyland from Australia and want to know.. do the single rider lanes get busy? I’m going to get Genie+ and was hoping a combo of that and single rider lanes could reduce my wait times by hours. Thank you!!
Single rider is awesome. My preferred way to ride. It really does cut the line a lot. Matterhorn gets the busiest single rider in my opinion in Disneyland, and the longest I’ve waited is 15 minutes. But it beats 45. Over in DCA it’s Radiator Springs Racers. I’ve waited 20 minutes there before, but the line is usually 60 minutes standby. So again, a solid option as single rider.
@@SoCalDisneyDadthank you so much for replying so fast. I’ve watched 23 of your videos and am super across everything now! 😅 thank you. I think single rider might save me some good $ on Genie+ and lightning lanes!!
Disney Springs in Orlando has a bunch of different themed Christmas Trees. They are spread around in different places and Disney offers a Christmas Tree Stroll Map. You go around and try to find where all the themed trees are, put the sticker where you found it and then turn it in for a small prize. It’s actually a lot of fun to see the trees even if you don’t do the activity.
Awesome video! Quick question - You travel up from San Diego correct? We will be in SD in a couple weeks and videos like this are making us want to squeeze in a 1 day DL visit. Is it crazy bad to drive up and back for 1 day from around Balboa Park area? Any tips for time/route (I-5?). Or is the Amtrak a better option? Thanks!
@@RionGreenhouseKitI do it all the time! It’s a super easy drive. From East County it takes me about 90 minutes. So maybe 70ish from the Balboa area. Single road the whole way up (I-5). We leave at about 6 AM, get there around 7:30, and by the time we are through security and the entrance gates it’s about 8 AM right at opening. We leave around 7 PM and get home around 8:30 PM and it’s a really good and solid day. We miss fireworks, but it gets dark around 5 PM so you can still enjoy the lights. Thank you for the Super Thanks!
