Larzland this is incredible, is there any interior theming (not on a one to one basis of course but) something behind the doors that complete (or that you plan to make complete) the look
@@Anna-xh6fk Thank you! The only interior theming is in my oldest daughter's room. Her room is the exit of Snow White's Scary Adventures. I will probably talk about that in a future video 🙂
When I first experienced The Haunted Mansion in the '70s, I wanted to build a room in my house with the same theme. In my case, the idea stayed in my mind. So glad you did something about your idea - it looks fabulous (and if I ever win Power ball.....). Great work!!
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen and that it’s in you basement is even cooler. It would literally be a dream come true to take pictures there in Disney cosplay and it would feel like your the real deal princess/character
I was brought back to this video while watching Adam the Woo (again). I hope you're doing well, Travis (and family). I'd love to learn what you've been up to this past year. Godspeed!
Thank you Mark! I haven't done much as far as the basement goes 🙁. I have some projects in mind that I will make videos of and I hope to get to those soon👍
I am a lighting designer an ex-Imagineer with a background in theatrical and themed environments and am in awe of what you have created. If you need ANY assistance in themed lighting or custom Christmas decorations tailored to your creation please let me know!!! The beautiful strategic details deserve detailed and strategic decorations that complement the Disney brand and could be carefully and elegantly programmed to soundscapes and timed music shows.
Mind....... blown! Your my hero! You represent everything Walt Disney hoped to bring to the world! I am inspired to attempt something along the lines you did and hope you share how you did the rock work and stone / brick work etc. you are a true craft master!
Oooooooo! Recreating a smaller version of Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar next to your backyard pool! Now THAT'S a million-dollar idea someone needs to set in motion! tinyurl.com/y92rp7gl
Just watched you on Adams channel, you have blown my mind. This is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to watch your journey and see what else you add to it. Absolutely beautiful.
I don't know if you have already considered this, but if you have the room you should use the interior space of the Village Haüs space as a dining room to be used for special and fun-filled occasions.
All I wanted was a tiki bar with some dole whip, now I feel I should have reached a little higher lol. This is an fantastical creation and I can't to see what else you have to share!
That’s awesome man. I always thought the outside of Pirates of the Caribbean ride would be a cool design for a house. I hope you keep your house in your family so it will stay special! I would never leave the basement if I was a kid haha
I am in awe! I watched the video that Adam the Whoo did and I was in tears. My father brought Snow White to life for me as a child. He painted a mural on my bedroom wall of her world. To this day (I am 57 years old now) I can remember every detail of that wall. He later introduced me to Wind in the Willow. I quickly became a fan of Mr. Toad. Bap Bap Vrooooommmm!! I loved Mr. Toad's free spirit and mis-adventures. I watched the video of your basement and it brought me so many emotions. I joined your site so I can see more of your creations come to life. Now I have an added adventure for my bucket list - to visit your wonderful world in person.
Thank you Kathleen, I am very glad to hear of what your Dad did for you and that my project brought you some happiness. That is what has made this all worthwhile 🙂
How in the hell, excuse my French, but I feel as tho it’s fairly appropriate in this instance, did you manage this, I envy you so much, can I pay you to do something like this in my basement?
This is the coolest, most detailed, amazing, incredible creation I have ever seen. Major props to you!❤ I can tell a lot of love and magic went into every little detail!
SO awesome. Thanks to the Disney discord for making me aware there is yet another amazing fan living the actual dream by creating this. Keep up the passion, Larz!!
I think I've subscribed to a second channel in the past, but this is the first time I've subscribed to a single video channel before. And if anyone out there has the skills and the means, I think something like this would make for a GREAT outdoor entry or backyard patio.
While the flooring and window work are off the charts amazing!!! the sound tracks and lighting are what made my jaw drop! I hope to hear some in future videos. This is absolute amazing 🙀✨✨
No, nothing from the park. Everything is something I have made. I do have some brass cafe curtain rings that are exactly the same ones as at the Village Haus restaurant though. They are on the short list of purchased items. I was going to make those as well but happened to find some on Ebay.
I just found your channel and I love it!! What a work of art!!! I can't wait for the next vlog! Keep them coming and God bless you and your family. The notification bell is waiting!!!!
My fiancé and I just happened upon your channel. We are so blown away. We’re visiting the parks in November and we’re excited to compare the details to your model. SO IMPRESSIVE!!!
Great job. This is very inspirational, it gives The possibility to people that they could actually build something as awesome as Disneyland at home to enjoy all the time. I was wondering how did you find time to build all this? How long did it take? Since you fabricated basically everything, was it very pricey? Hopefully by answering these questions you can give me an idea on how I can manage my time and budget my money to hopefully create something as awesome as this at my house. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your creation.
Thank you Matt! It took about 12 years total to create, I just worked on it in my free time. No, it wasn't too expensive, a good amount of the materials were reclaimed like wood and brick etc. I think it cost less than $5000. It was mainly time.
This is without a doubt the most amazingly creative project I’ve ever seen. I worked at the park for many years and I must say what you have created is truly beautiful and magical.
Brilliant idea! Awesome in so many ways my fellow Disney pal.. Make yourself a Dumbo ride cart lounger to relax in this wonderful place. Edit... Tea Cup seat and table
I saw Adamthewoo piece on your house. This is truly impressive sir. Great work. I'm really surprised you only have 3 vids so far. I hope there will be some before and after pix of your process, maybe a few how- to vids on re-creating some of these items? Cant wait to see more.
WOW! You have inspired me to use your techniques outside. I've been wanting to build a garden wall but cant find a stone I'd like to use. I think I'm going to use cement block as base and use the foam & mortar, paint & stain to my liking then seal. I would like to see you sell some of your custom accents. Thank you for detailed explanations loved every minute, I'm sure to watch multiple times.
Very cool! I will be doing a detailed video of the stone making process from beginning to end as well as the paint process. If I can be of any additional help please don't hesitate to ask. I think some comments are getting buried and I am not seeing them so you can email or contact me through messenger if I don't respond...
