Thanks for the video! I’ve been roughly a dozen times since the mid 90’s. I’m taking my girlfriend, her 4 year old daughter, and 6 year old son for all of their first times, at the end of April next month. These are some great reminders on how to make a great experience, even greater. We are staying at the Castle Inn across the street, have a rechargeable/solar charger bank for our phones, will have a backpack full of wipes, waters, change of clothes for the kids, and snacks. We bought a bunch of Disney stuff for the kids already to bring along (clothing and toys for the car and hotel), in hopes to be able to focus our money on the food, and maybe a character breakfast.

I definitely use all of these hacks which is amazing! Another one to hit pirates or even haunted mansion is during the 10 pm fantasmic show because there is usually no line! I’m going to Disney next Friday I have been away too long (a month) I am definitely having Disney withdrawals 🤭

I’m an annual passholder, and most of these hacks I’ve learned over the years myself lol but I like comparing points and learn things I may not have known! I would love to see what you take to Disney in your Disney bag, my friends always call me mom when we go to Disney cuz I take everything lol water, bandaids, hairbrushes, everything lol hopefully with your video I can narrow down how much I take especially if I just go for half a day. my favorite rest stop is inside the grand californian they have tons of different types of chairs and couches but my favorite is the rocking chair right in front of the fire on a cold night mm

This is such a great and helpful video.. I’m live in Australia and have been fortunate to go to Disneyland twice in the past couple of year.. during those two visits I was with American friends who guided me around the park.. I’ll be heading their again in October.. this time it’ll be just my husband and I going I think.. so I’m definitely going to use some of your tips.. especially the photo spots and that new max pass thing.. love your videos, ever since I stumbled apon your video on purchasing your LV speedy , as I was researching getting one..I bought myself the speedy b in DE.. and a big congratulations on purchasing your first home.. Another little hack for somewhere to cool down is the little mermaid ride in California adventure. The line tends to be short and/or move quickly. It is a go-to when it gets hot for my family.

Cove bar has been gone for awhile. They announced the lamplight lounge for quite some time. The cove bar came back for a little while in May but you can tell it was under construction

Once we were given a “special” fast pass by someone who didn’t have anyone to share with. I don’t remember what it was called, but it allowed up to 6 extra people. We got to walk right on to BTM when it first reopened after being redone. It was amazing. ❤️

I’m a little confused about something I anyone can help. If I get the MaxPass on my second day can I still get the pictures from the first day and also from the second day? If I use the same photo card through my entire trip? Or is it just for the pictures of that one day?

I feel so bad for the people selling balloons. They are constantly bothered by people wanting to hold the balloons for a picture. Leave them alone they are there to sell balloons.

Balloon vendors have the right to say no to a photo, which I'll admit I exercise this right quite often especially if I'm working on my balloon umbrella.

I’ve been a passholder for years now and the entrance to DCA from the resort is sometimes only available to guests staying at the resort. They’ve asked me for a room key a few times. Not all the time but sometimes. I have however, been able to exit through there without any problems.

I do it every time I go and they never ask for a room key I just walk in like as if it's no big deal, if they did ever stop me I'd probably just say I'm having dinner or meeting a friend etc

They’ve really cracked down on using the Grand Californian. We used to walk through to go to Paradise Pier, but they won’t let you do that anymore. It’s actually the most aggressive I’ve ever seen Disney staff get.

The cove bar is gone :( I went yesterday and now it's the Lamplight lounge. We tried to get a fun wheel drink but they said they don't do the secret menu anymore :( Love love LOVE this video though!

You only mentioned the two on Main Street. There is the Golden Horseshoe for drinks and air-conditioning, the Tiki Room small show and cushioned seats, plus they allow Dole whips inside.

A/C spots are simple: great moments with abe and the tiki room. also mickey mouse cinema. yeah the ca adventure animation academy is great too. also good go is doing sleeping beauty castle walk thru or check out the snow white grotto usually not many people there. and the star wars gallery in tomorrow land is good too in the old days we also had the hungry bear jamboree in critter town, but not anymore. we also had the second level of the starcade (air hockey anyone?) but they ruined that for us too probably cause no one else went up there. oh and we also had the art gallery above pirates but they turned that into a resort for lucky winners sad because that was probably my #1 fav part of disneyland.
