Do NOT wait until the last hour to shop on Main Street as EVERYONE does this and you will not be able to move in the stores and the lines are insane, it's literally like a 90% off sale on Black Friday. A much better shopping hack is to buy whatever you want in the park and have it sent for FREE to the front of the park where you can pick it up on your way out. Just tell the cast member when your checking out you want it sent to the front for pick up. You don't have to carry stuff around, no locker rentals, and no getting elbowed by the crowds in the Emporium at the last minute.

Personally, I prefer to keep notes of things I want to buy if I happen to see them while spending the day in Disneyland and then save my purchasing until later that night in Downtown Disney (outside of the parks.) That way, I don't spend "theme park" time shopping and I've never once been unable to find the items I saw for sale inside Disneyland shops that were not also available at the massive Disney store in Downtown Disney.

I can understand the psychology about the left line thing but for the split at the Pirates queue, ALWAYS CHOOSE THE RIGHT! The left side goes into a queue thru the left side of the building whereas the right side goes straight into the building. I've been AP for almost 10 years and have timed myself almost every time in the Pirates queue with someone in front of me who then chooses the left side..and about 95% of the time, as me and my party are boarding the boat, the other person who went on the left queue is behind like 20 people :)

People pick the right side of the stairs to walk up because we have been psychologically condition to walk up on the right and down on the left.

Sierra Schultzzie yeah, I think it stems from what side you drive on. For instance when I went to the US, I noticed more people just naturally walked on the right side whereas in places such as Australia, where I live, people tend to walk more on the left side which is again, likely due to the fact that we drive on the left.

Sierra Schultzzie I think it's what is most commonly socialized in an area. Just look around next time you are in a crowd or at the grocery store. People will always want to " go with the flow".

Btw, you can also do fast passes on the Disney app. You can make dinner reservations and if you have everyone in your group download the app and make an account, once accounts are linked one person can do fast passes and reservations for everyone! This may be common knowledge but I just went to Disney world and we used the app for everything--super helpful!

The Pin Trading with Castmembers is great to get rid of the dups you tend to get when buying the mystery seasonal packs/pins that are no longer available or the one pin you can never seem to get to finish off that set.

another part of the Fantasyland hack: All the rides from the castle to the carousel close a little before and a little after the fireworks. So if you want to get on Peter Pan or another ride in that area, watch the fireworks by dumbo and head over towards those rides immediately after :)

It’s funny you say to choose left because recently everyone’s been doing that. So I just go right instead. 😂 Got on the incredicoaster so quick that way.
