There’s a small mistake in this video. At the end, I say that they have removed the Star Wars land concept art, but it seems there never was one! My brain was playing tricks on me 😅

I went to disney in 8th December and returned yesterday, it was the 3rd time and loved it! The 2nd one was 10 years ago and its nice to see that some things are still the same. Nemo's rollercoaster still one of my favorites! On the other hand, I preferred Space mountain like it was before. Thank you for the uploads 💪🏻

I think RU-vid places ads based on factors such as chapters/sections, replays, and length of time into the video.

The ad breaks are set when I upload the video. I think that, on top of it all, they’re based on two factors: video “breaks” when I stop talking and there’s a natural stop and how long the last break was before. Other than that I’m not too sure, but you make some solid points

Quite excited to see the Lion King land being announced. I hope it also includes the current stadium area and that can be repurposed to a new home for the Lion King show. For the other side I would like to see cars land similar to California Adventure as that would be a nice expansion to what is a Pixar land.

It hasn’t been announced yet! It shouldn’t be too long now though. I think what you say makes a lot of sense, it’s a little strange what they seem to be doing with that stage but I guess that it sits on amazingly good real estate. They COULD be dragging demolishing it but I think that in several years it should be used for an Avengers Campus expansion, or a land this could connect AC to Lion King, like a wakanda themed land!

It looks like they're pre preparing it, if that makes any sense. Works can't obviously start until the permits are filed but this shouldn't take too long to happen! The announcement itself may be closer than what some think...

A Lion King area next to the Frozen area sounds so prespoterous. That will make two float rides in almost the same area.

That’s a good point actually, having two water rides seems strange but they’re different systems after all. Frozen doesn’t get you wet, at all, it’s like Pirates. The other should be more trilling like Splash Mountain. Studios doesn’t have any water ride but most other ride systems have a presence here, so it makes *some* sense.

⁠@@themainstreetnews a Splash Mountain like ride in DLP is not relevant at all, Paris and Florida are very different in terms or weather, such a ride would be closed from October to March, so What’s it worth ?! Moreover The Lion King is not intergenerational since contrary to Star Wars or even Avatar to a certain extent The Lion King is neither a saga nor a licence. So the upcoming announcement of a Lion King area is a very sad news.

Firstly, Tokyo has a splash mountain and a very similar weather to that of Paris. They can regulate the water levels to make 0 or a lot of splashes depending on the day. Secondly, you really prefer one small scale clone of an already existing land with less than half of the offerings than 2 completely original lands with new ride systems? The Lion King flume is said to be the biggest and best flume Disney has ever made, with incredibly impressive technology!

@@themainstreetnews I will be going on January 30 and will stay until February 2nd. Can I expect a lot of construction walls on the studios, right? Will that mean that shows will be cancelled?

⁠Yes, lots of construction walls in Studios but that shouldn’t affect the attractions. There will be some rides closed for refurbishment though during you trip. Both Big Thunder Mountain and the Mad Hatters Tea Cups will be closed, unfortunately.

@@Daniellima49 Yeah, if you’re going for the first time 2024 and the first half of 2025 are not the best. Either way, Studios is the one with the most construction, so there’s still plenty of magic!

Great video thank you We have delayed our visit to DLP until 2025 in the hope that the frozen land and area will be ready but I've a feeling we may need to wait a little longer then expected There's alot to do still by the looks of it Your video has given alot of great information,thanks again ❤😊

Still won't be right coming out of Studio 1 and not seeing the Partner Statue....but I guess the new allignment of it looking down into Studios does make a bit more sense :)

It’ll definitely feel very weird, but it helps that everything will be different as well, but not completely different… it’s going to be hard to get accustomed to the new entrance

I did not know they were taking out the Parnters sculpture! Too bad, hope they can bring it back somewhere in the park. Otherwise I am certainly looking forward to the renovtion and expansion (glad I got to see Studio 1 in its current form - but hope it is improved somehow.) Cool to see them starting on the third land, thanks for the update!

Thank you for the comment! They’re in fact bringing the statue back later! It’s currently being cleaned and refurbished but it’ll be back in a similar location. Very exciting progress, but I can’t believe they’re not putting in a “Sleighs” coaster in the Frozen area like Asia (only make it the length of Magic Kingdom’s Seven Dwarfs mine ride! , not just 30 seconds long). ……Seems like a MISSED OPPORTUNITY! 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m absolutely not, and here’s why: Disneyland Paris will get a Star Wars land, but not a much smaller Galaxy’s Edge with just one ride. Very reputable insiders have said, and I’ve reported, about a brand new Star Wars land behind Discoveryland. This way, we win one original Lion King and one original Star Wars land! It’s such a better deal!

The new Star Wars land being designed for the Disneyland Park is in the drawing board. It’s most likely happening, but details are unknown. What is known is that the ride will be a new one, never before seen. A contender seems to be a speeder bike roller coaster, a mix of Tron and Hagrid’s in Universal! Note that the original land in Studios would have Rise of the Resistance, not Smugglers Run.

Yes! Avis is the new sponsor of the ride. I don’t think any big change is coming though, other than some cosmetic ones in the entrance and other smaller ones.

it's so disappointing that there is still no frozen... that has been delayed so many times we planned to go there next summer for our 20th anni over 3 years ago and it seems to be no end in sight... thanks for the update!

Yes, there have been numerous delays and most of them were because of Covid. As you said, unfortunately it won’t be completed next year… Either way, Hakuna Matata, the future is bright for DLP!

Ah, about that, glad you ask. Disney only announced that they’re changing two scenes from that ride which in itself isn’t that interesting. The thing is that the project seems to be a lot bigger than what they made it look… I’m waiting on more details to talk about it in the future!

Now that Universal are confirmed to be building in the UK, Disney will be forced to announce at least one more new area to be built in DLP, as well as better deals for UK guests, to convince them the flight is worth it. Competition can only be good for guests.

This will be happening soon, so many new lands and projects are in development at this moment! Small correction, Universal is in the early stages of development, they haven’t confirmed the project is moving forward, even if I think and hope it is

@@themainstreetnewsPretty sure they did confirm that the land is paid for, and the local government are behind it. All but certainly at this point, as I don’t see Universal making such an investment without planning assurances beforehand.

No. It’ll open in 2025. I’ve been constantly told that it’ll open in summer 2025 as well, but it’s important to wait for an official confirmation.

Hey! Yeah I’m from Portugal. If I wish it had been built in Spain? Not really, but it’s not as easy as it may seem. Both countries submitted two proposals to Disney and Spain’s proposal would see the resort start off slow while France’s would go big from the first moment. Going big was DLP’s major challenge in the next years but I think that the scale of it would be hard to achieve in Spain.

The annual passes? The lineup introduced this summer is not changing, Disney did announce that friends and family tickets will be returning for a short period of time though.. that might be where the confusion comes from!

Why do you say it’ll be a generic Lion King land? It’ll be incredibly ambitious! Also, Paris would not get Galaxy’s Edge but a lite version of it with less than half its footprint and just one of the two rides.
