ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 12) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).
We're daily family vloggers with new videos out at 5pm every day UK time. We vlog about our daily lives, including life as an autism family (Andy is autistic) and lots of nerdy stuff because we just can't help ourselves!

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Hey Kev, Monzo cards are by far the best cards for traveling abroad - no charges, you don't have to tell them you're going abroad and you get a good exchange rate! You should check out the app, you set up a current account with them (it takes about 10 mins to get approved for it as you just take photos of your ID and record a video to prove it's you). And With it being a current account, you can transfer all money back into your normal account as soon as you're home, or continue to use it as an account in its own right 😀 Glad you had a good holiday, I've really enjoyed all the vlogs! ✨

I do hope you guys can go on a holiday again. It was so enjoyable watching. I'd get my dinner and watch each night or the second it uploaded haha. Now I'm spending my birthday relaxing, eating shepherds pie, and watching this vlog. Still worn out from yesterday's celebrating lol. Anyways, it was amazing to see just how far Andy has come. A year and a half ago when I first started watching I think that trip would've either not been able to happen or would've been very different. He's come A LONG way. And very quick.

I really hope you get to go back. we went 4 years ago for my 21st and I have a list of things that we would do better or things that I missed that I would deffo do next time etc. We are hoping to go next Autumn for my mum's 50th birthday! This time with more of us and 3 kiddos too. Cannot wait to plan!!

I'm so glad all of you had a great time! I arrived back to the US on Friday after spending 3 amazing weeks in Kings Lynn and Nottingham and am still feeling the post vacation blues! Back to work for me tonight after recovering over the weekend and fully looking forward to making back all of the money I spent! :)

If you go to Florida, you don't have to stay in a Disney hotel. You will have just as much fun if you stayed in a villa. It will be much cheaper, you can have meals there and everyone can have their own personal space. We've done Disneyworld on a budget and never felt we've missed out by not staying in a Disney hotel.

kathy james I was thinking the same thing. I’ve been to Florida a few times and we always stayed in a villa and hired a car. We then went to place like universal studios, Kennedy space centre etc.

Great advice! Glad you had fun. It's nice to see other adults love kid stuff as I do. As much as we all want to take our children along of course, I was thinking you and Anna should go for a second honeymoon or anniversary for just the two of you some time as well.

When I went to E3 the first year, I knew it was a video game convention... but I don't think I realized just HOW BIG the show was. It may have been before trips to Emerald City Comic Con, and I've never been to California for their conventions. Bottom line... I went the first day of the convention, had the time of my life, but about 4 o'clock in the afternoon I started feeling pain and realized I hadn't gone to the bathroom, and I really needed to go. The lights, huge booths (like 12' to 15' high), and just such an amazing event... it wasn't JUST overwhelming, it was completely beyond my wildest dreams. Bottom line, there is something to be said for figuring out what you are getting into, sleeping properly, and not overdue-ing. Though it's easier to say then to do. ;)

Im going to Florida, Orlando in July and i cant wait. I hope you can go sometime in the future, but i think the flight could be a problem for Andy, as its 8 hours

I’m not sure how Andy is with transitions, but I find that staying at a hotel for a night on the way home from a long trip helps me a lot. Plus he just likes the Premier Inns right? Anyway, I’m glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Maybe next time could be a full week with some days to explore Paris.

What did I do before Kevin Chapman videos? (Ok, yes, I know EXACTLY what I did!) What a lovely family, such great videos, and it's a pleasure to watch. I can't tell you how many videos (and I'm not even a big RU-vid watcher) I turn on and I'm done in two minutes because I don't find the subject interesting like I thought, the people don't speak well, whatever... but the Chapman's are truly wonderful. I did have trouble making out Anna's point toward the end of the video, when Kev mentions 12,000 pounds to go to Florida, and then she says something not even the CC picked up. But nice job Kev and I like your Marvel figure set! ;)

We drive from Devon to get the midday crossing over. We don’t book hotels as it adds to the cost but we have 5 days in Disney. We stay at the Davy Crockett ranch it’s fine and has a nice pool. We got the free dining last time 😁 Loved watching the Disney vlogs ❤️

Just so people know - the number of people who can go on a green card depends on the size of your group. I went last year as part of a group of 4 and my card allowed me and 2 others on rides and 1 other in parades and illuminations but when I went a few weeks ago my card only allowed 1 other on rides as I was in a group of 3

Just so you know, when I win the lottery I shall be treating the Chapman family to a full two weeks in DisneyWorld in Orlando Florida IAnd a couple of days in Wizarding World of course) and a full time carer qualified to the gills to give the elder Chapmans a little bit of a break as well. I expect to win the lottery any day now...so yeah. Better start planning. ;-) And yes here when obtaining a disability pass you will never be asked about diagnosis. :)

I wouldn’t recommend Disney world in Florida for Andy to be honest. Not only is the sensory experience far more intense their due to the increased number of rides and people, but the disability concessions on offer there are completely different. Due to the bill of rights in america, nobody has the legal right to ask anyone for evidence of a disability which means you can’t use medical evidence to get concessions in the same way as you can in Paris. Because the park in Florida can’t ask for any evidence, many people abused the green cards when they were in use there in order to skip the queues. Due to this, instead of being able to join a shorter queue as is the case with the green card, guests with a disability pass in Florida go to the ride they want to go on and however long the queue is at the ride is the length of time in which they can come back to get on the ride. I know that for me, the waiting and only being able to wait for one attraction at a time would send my anxiety through the roof so I stick to Paris where I can wait in shorter queues.
