The fitness center also has a water bottle refill station. Perfect for filling your bottle with filtered water before going into the parks.

Christmas time is our favorite time to stay at the Grand. There is a floor to ceiling Christmas Tree and Santa photos on a craftsman style chair at the base.

OOOoh man, this video was tooooooo short. I want to see what you all ate. I want to see the big slide. I love the fifth floor patio. It's also an amazing view at night with the pools glowing and the outline of Cars Land in the skyline beyond the hotel. You can also get a great view of the Christmas tree from up there during the holiday season. The courtyard is also a favorite place. For the times I've visited, I had the places to myself. They are amazing areas for those like me who need occasional space and alone time.

I'm hunkering down to watch this right now and I'm SO excited ❣I've been saving up forever, so we're going to stay there for 4 nights during our 1st family Disney vacation, so I'm loving all things Disneyland hotels❣💛💙❣

Such a great tour Chris, thank you! Grand Californian has some great memories for me… one fond one is going to the Fireplace Lounge and hearing Disney Campfire stories as a youngster. That smell in the lobby is one of the best smells too!

It's so cool to watch this video as my mother actually works in that hotel, though my personal favorite parts are the upper levels, as I've surprisingly never been on any other floors in the literal 10 years I've been going to Disneyland

Love this hotel! Just got married at Disneyland a couple weeks ago, & we stayed at the Grand Californian! Had such a blast with our family & friends! Nothing better than at the end of a long day at Disneyland or DCA, to walk straight into your hotel fresh off a trip down the Grizzly River Run Rapids! It was 90 degrees when we went so the was AMAZING!

Ok Chris, how did you miss the Mickey Ears on the step stool in the bathroom. I have always wanted to stay a DGH, but just can’t afford that.

I loved staying here with my family. Especially when they were younger. Thee best resort to stay at on the Disney properties. A bit pricey but well worth it. U feel pampered there. You guys are so lucky! This is a gorgeous place to stay. I was sold on the pool menu/service. It’s a bit tough for DVC peeps to stay here if trying to book more than 7 months out. Lucky you!! ☺️ Congrats again for 100K!!!

The Hotel is wonderful and worth the stay. Concierge level was absolutely amazing. The decor is nice, the outside fireplace is nice and the location cannot be beat!!

Missed the upper deck on the rear of the hotel....that overlooks the ferris wheel and night show. Great views from there....

I was so lucky to get an incredible deal through Get Away Today and stayed here for the start of the 2019 Oogie Boogie Bash, can’t beat walking straight into DCA! Such an incredible video guys… so many things I wasn’t aware of!!!

There's also the Paradise Viewpoint the 6th floor where you can overlook the pier and watch World of Color when it's going. Also every room has a channel to listen to World of Color if your room has a view of it.

They are so comfy, that it makes it hard to get out of bed in time for rope drop. Come on 200k!!!

All of the decorative wood in the Hearthstone bar area is from one tree. We learned this taking the free hotel tour back in 2019.

Talk with the hotel and find out when if there is a slow period for the hotel, and get together with Disney and Getaway Today, and how about having a 'Park Pass" stay for all of us to get together for a family stay for a few days? Just to relax and chill with each other, in and around the hotel.... Just a thought,.. "Uncle Martin"

The Grand Californian is my favorite hotel at Disneyland! I’ve never had a bad time there and it has the best beds!! Regarding Storytellers Cafe, you can see the characters for breakfast only. You didn’t specify this so I thought I’d bring it up. I love the Napa Rose! It definitely is one of the nicest restaurants at Disney Parks. The chef and staff are so great. On my list is to try the concierge level room. My favorite place to take a break without actually returning to my room is the fireplace in the lobby. Such a cozy place to relax and cool down. The AC’s in the Grand are no joke!

Video idea! Best ways to get to Disneyland from the airport. Disney World has Magical Express (until 2022). But Disneyland doesn't have anything like that. I've heard of shuttles and a bus that go that direction. It would be great to get details for us out of towners.

Another detail about the lobby floor/rugs is that the flowers are open where the sun hits the floor directly and closed where it does not 😉

1st off Love ❤ Disney and your channel. We have been to the hotel multiple times Throughout the years. Love Storyteller's restaurant more so in the very beginning but it has gone through several incarnations. It has always been our go to restaurant when we visit the parks. The cast members and servers are par excellent. I have received better customer service there than I have Experienced in Club 33. And minus the attitude which is greatly appreciated and refreshing. We agreed the hotel is beautiful without a doubt, especially during the seasonal layovers. No one does it "Better" than the "Mouse". But we do disagree on one point, I cannot put my thumb on it but Disney never really Succeeds or hit it out of the ballpark with the actual hotel room. There is an element or component that is missing whether it's with aesthetics, appointments or comfort ? I get it it's just a place to sleep and shower for some? Disney wants you out in the park spending money we're not naive but at the end of the day I still as an adult or even younger family members enjoy and appreciate refuge in a nicely comfortable adequately Hotel room with upscale appurtenances . They need to take it up a notch or 2, It's Disney they do it in all other areas, why not with the hotels ??? For example doing your vlog you were showcasing the separation between the beds the pseudo night stand. The room looked used and abused. The phone appeared as if it was not clean and banged up the edge on the wall look like it was dirty or dusty. It simply looked not clean and it doesn't reflect the cleanliness and standards of a 5 star hotel which I believe they claim it to be. At the premium price points Disney commands for some of their hotel properties we expect more to justify those high prices $$$$$ For one example we would love to stay on property in Disney World but we really do not, we prefer to go stay at the "Four Seasons" Guests appreciate and respect consistency and standards.

I stayed @ the Disneyland Hotel (Dream Tower) in 2008. Before the name change. Yes! Treat yourself. Even If it's once in a lifetime. Had breakfast with GoOfy as well. Still even have the collector button as well. Love the "Miles Moments" Today is national chocolate chip cookie day! Tomorrow is Ntl. oyster day. I'm sooo frying up me some oysters after work.

OK, one thing you missed. Right outside your room in the carpet is Chip and Dale. It is hard to see, but once you've seen it you won't miss it.
