Oh well, that’s what happends, without splash mountain the magic is gone and disneyland isn’t the same without it. All this “he said she said” about false racism of a ride that’s been beloved and popular for the past 30 years is ridiculous.
I just wanted to say I have been a Disney fan since Disneyland opened in 1955. Yes, I’m that old and for the first time I have made hotel reservations for a week at Universal Orlando next November.🎉 I’m guessing I might visit WDW for maybe 2 days

This is the jinx that happens when Disney is obsessed with political ideology and cultural revolution, instead of quality and value that keeps their business viable. I bet even the subways of Moscow run better than this.
Those Moscow subway stations really are works of art.... Attention to detail.. something Disney should have done... though most cars belong in the Kruschev era...

we were there just a few days ago--the mountain has these green splash marks of green paint--it looks horrible. I mean where was the quality control on this thing. Im not a fan of log rides but splash was aesthetically beautiful to look at. For something that was down for a year or over that--i was hoping for more--the que is not good either.
If Disney doesn't get these two rides running smoothly in 2025, then they have a problem. Disney has to either spend another huge sum into this ride to fix/retheme/rebuild it or have a broken ride in their parks. I mean if we look into the future, how will this ride look like in 5 years? 10 years? The ride will age and new problems will appear. Disney is now in a no win situation with this ride.
They should have left the track timing alone . Like it worked fine as Splash Mtn, and now poof it no longer does. They touched something that wasn’t broken, and now they’re digging themselves into a ditch and fans will be mad. People plan their trips around the openings of attractions, people will want refunds.
This is a perfect example of what is wrong with the entire company. Poor product, terrible show, no innovation, destruction of a once great item, and poor execution. Horrendous experience and no excitement.
Can we get Pro and the Crew to do an expose on just how many tens of Billions the Iger Corperation has #1 spent, and #2 wasted in the last 2-3 years? Inquiring investors need to know. Not that I ever intend to invest in the Iger Corperation.
MANY rides at Disneyland break down constantly! It is not uncommon at all to have Indian Jones, Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn and Space Mountain down at the same time - while the train and small world were already closed. I wish Disney would at least pretend to care about these issues, but instead they just raise prices more.

Whats funny i was looking up Tianas Bayou Adventure in transportation center and suddenly Laughing Place played i was like NO WAY James Baskett is offended by his ride (TBA). And his family is ashamed.
How has their been a Tiana-s Bayou Adventure opened in both Disney World parks and STILL the T Tiana series has yet to be released? What has WDAS done all year? They have not been working on Moana 2, that was given to the studio in Vancouver. Film Threat does not know where that Iranian princess movie isk, their theory is that it got cmpletely sent to the Shadow Realm, but I think it is p;ossible that it will be thrown straight to Disney+ at some point, they promised ten movies between December 2020 and December 2030 straight to streaming animated ones, and have one done this with three movies so far. TI mean I am sure there has been a lot of work on Zootop9;ia 2 and the original film for Thanskvigin 2026, but even so, synergy would make more sense than throwing a ride out there blindly.
I started going in 1968 as a 7 year old and stopped 2 years ago because of the woke thinking in the company. I have a large vintage Disney collection and I'm an artist. I have almost 200 books on Walt, the parks, the artists and the art of Disney. I've read them all and probably seen every documentary on these things. I met Walts daughter before she passed away. This company doesn't seem to know what their doing. One exception is Rise of the resistance which is a great ride. Sad this company has lost millions of fans and dollars. What a shame.
I had a gut feeling this ride was not going to work. There are no more real imagineers left and of course not to mention that the MAGIC is gone!!!!!! Your done Disney company!!!!
In the meantime, I'm glad they got rid of the Fountain of Nations in Epcot's central court. It was such a waste of water & the pumps used way too much C02. The new Communicore hall is better too. Its plainer, simpler format uses less carbon too. The de-themed hotels also remind guests of the importance of favoring a more carbon-neutral lifestyle. As for Tiana's, it's sad they didn't make more of the animals look like people of color, females and/or also homosexual.
