Dispatcher Upset! I Was Late For Delivery "PRIME INC TRUCKING"

Congratulations driver that you made a LATE DELIVERY, with a clear BOL. You didn't have any accidents with major liabilities or deaths against you. Your STILL TRUCKING for another Day! My point is this, There are drivers who didn't make delivery, trying that "hurry up" game that had accidents, and lost EVERYTHING. Their truck, the load, damage to property, those situations have to be settled before they will return to the seat to drive again. We are ALL PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS, hired on to become "Team Members" of a carrier. Therefore, my conversation is professional, whether you agree with me or not, I'm not going to allow you to get into a verbal confrontation, about how I handle my driving of the truck. It's "MY CALL" about driving the truck, if I communicate that I'm going to be late, due to adverse weather conditions, well reschedule the delivery, I'm going to be late. FULL STOP. I'd rather be late, then not get there at all! No dispatcher is going to drive my truck, from behind their desk. No dispatcher is going to holler, scream at me over the phone, then expect me to drive from stress they created. If those are the situations that you're facing every day, then maybe it's time for you to consider driving for someone else. Good Safe Drivers ARE IN DEMAND ! I don't drive under stress, I have "FUN ON MY RUN", make a few dollars, defiantly without being stressed out. Now make the call that's best for YOU! Happy Motoring Be Safe!

I can’t remember the Walmart dc I’ve been to but they had us do the same thing with the photos. Everything about that dc was different from your typical WM DC. Even the traffic office was laid out differently.
