This is a short video showing the 30th Division Stokes mortar team displacing the mortar during a German attack. The Germans attacked on the flank and rear and we had to get out of the mortar pit and move the mortar to a point where we could support the Allies better. In this video I am using the "Lollipop" to communicate. The Lollipop has a red/green side and a black/white side. By moving it in those directions I can tell the mortars if they are shooting left, right, too short or going over the target. This was filmed in Newville, PA in April 2024, during the GWA Spring Tactical. Oh, and that is not a real explosion, but one done on a green screen.
