It wasn't a slip though. His studs got stuck in the turf and his knee completely buckled underneath him. It was more than likely, a pretty serious injury and he couldn't stand back up. I realise the current rules state that play isn't supposed to stop for an injury, but in a situation like this, a bit of common sense needs to be exercised. Besides, that rule only exists because so many players fake injuries, due to the modern game being riddled with cheating and bad sportsmanship. So, while them scoring wasn't, technically, against the rules, it was very bad sportsmanship and highly disrespectful. Let's be honest: If this happened against your team, you'd be seriously annoyed and complaining that they didn't stop.

If you give out the rule, even just a fair play but unbinding rule, to stop when someone falls down, then you have a lot of teams doing right that, just falling down to stop a team from scoring. And you will certainly have that at the World Cup, CL and any important match. You score the f*cking goal and if you wanna do fair play and be a sportsman, then let the other team score right after.
