I’ve got news for these vain tourists. Those gorgeous horses, immaculately turned out and the smart dignified guards will be the focus of any photo. Not you with your fake poses and looking nervous being so close to these large animals. You can touch the horse but when the horse responds some of these people freak out. The reactions of children and the responses of the horses is the most enjoyable to watch. Children and animals are so genuine.
That guy in the blue shirt even gave me a bad vibe. He just wanted to show who's boss, boy was he wrong. I hope he doesn't have any animals of his own. Very nasty man.
To the guy in the blue shirt at the end of the video - the horse does NOT LIKE YOU! He's tried to bite you several times and pinned his ears back when you stick your hands in his face; leave him ALONE!🤬😡🤬😡
In my opinion, there are two things that need to be done here. 1) Stop people putting their hands so that the horse licks them. Who knows what they have on their hands which could be unsuitable for the horse? 2) Not allowing anybody closer to the horse than the edge of the archway. There could be a white line like they have inside.
Never knew I would be watching the Kings Guard and the amazing horses and the stupid people too and getting frustrated with the lack of awareness or respect.
Oh the blue shirted man is giving off negative vibes to the horse. I love how animals can sense something in humans. So obvious in this case. Many of those tourists were behaving well. Pity they all don’t.
Dogs can always sense someone who is a bit strange. It can be embarrassing at times! I had the most gentle labrador who saw a workman across a field very early one day, and her fur stood on end and she growled, unheard of from her.😮
I do feel sorry for the horses continuesly being touched stroke all day some people even put out their hands out as though they have treats its a shame its not added to sign do not touch the horses !¡!
I can’t imagine taking a group of students to such a crowded & busy area, but perhaps they wouldn’t get to bust otherwise. Poor horses & guards are so well trained to put up w all the bad behavior!🙏🏼💕
These horses are the same as you would see at parades, going through the parks, patrolling , and during riots, unrest. People won't back off for an officer, but they will for one of these big horses. Human nature. They go through major training, not all can do this. Their duty in front of the gates is on a rotating bases, they are quite used to being crowded, touched, they have to be. No horse would be put through this if they are not pretty much what we call bomb proof. But, sure, they have bad days, doesn't everyone? The rider is not decoration. He or she knows that horse and will react if they feel something is wrong. This guard has been doing this for a hundred years, probably more. Why should they change, it's the public that has to learn respect. The police you are referring to do not have the authority to make that call. Again, up to the rider.They are not standing around doing nothing. They are watching the crowd. These are real soldiers, not toys. Police are armed, it's unfortunate that it has come to this, and remember, that rider on the horse is also a real soldier. They are there to do a job.
Two good guards. Wow, I would Not bring my Kids close to a horse with pinned back ears like this and would not approach a horse in its own, If the horse IS in this mood.
The disrespect of the tourist is really out of hand And all this should be stopped before something happens to our Kings Guards And the beautiful horses… And these Israelis tourist and Hassidic youngsters are the worst their respect to Our Kings Guards are deplorable and the and horses, how would they like if we disrespected their Israeli soldiers when we visit their country

I saw in a reply that the pat on the neck tells the horse he/she did a good job & the pat on the side tells the horse the soldier is dismounting & his load will be lighter.
She so wants to graze, isn't arthritis a cruel thing, maybe they worked her too hard in pulling so in her middle age she is just tired and stiff. can't she have a branch to browse a apple tree branch maybe tied in her stable maybe?
Anyone could see that the horse did not like the guy at the end of the video with the blue shirt. Skip to the end, that is usually where the story is. Not always, but mostly.

Entitlement and no horse sense or common sense. They live in their own little world in which they are never told no! Just my opinion of course. Most of the young children behave much better than the so-called adults.
Horse wants a snack. Once I see something, I leave. Msybe take a picture. Maybe don't. Why do these people mill about like vultures? I went to the Grand Canyon. Looked in it, then left. You can see a lot more things that way.
If you took one look at the Grand Canyon then left then you have no idea what you missed, the sunrise, sunset, shows the Canyon in a multitude of different ways. Plus did you get to read any of the historical imformation all around ?

Dont these tourist realise how hard and monotomist it is to sit on a horse hor one hour also controling the horse. The poor horse is standing while hundreds of people stop plaster their hands all over them its face and other parts. Obviously they have no brain no respect and think its a given to act as appalling as possible. Shame on those tourists.
Stupid stupid to let people touch. Someone could give horses something harmful. Disrespectful of king to put these men and these horses in this position.
In one video a lady fed the horse something that I believe was drugs because after that the horse started acting crazy. I don’t think people should be allowed to feed the horses anything.
