Though it's not a cure. I recommend looking into a keto type diet. I have Dissecting Cellulitis and I've noticed anytime I consume carbs or sugar the bumps would swell and grow. When I cut out most carbs and sugar literally within a day the swelling is going down. One in particular that I had was about the size of a golf ball from what the doctor told me. It's now practically nonexistent. I'm even growing hair back. This is not a cure, that's not what I'm saying. There is however in my opinion something to a keto type diet. I truly hope this info helps anyone who has this. I know the pain and struggle of it🙏

Hello Professor Lidia, do you think that doing a permanent laser hair removal for the entire scalp will prevent the disease from spreading?

Ive been dealing with this disease for years, its very hard to stay positive. 6 months of anti biotics and then you finish and after a month it comes back with a vengeance. Every time im getting more and more scarring. Someone else said it but i also do agree a zero carb zero sugar diet does help massively. Although its quite hard to stick too. Whats the science on reducing sebum production? I have insanely oily skin and i feel like i create more Sebum which is fuelling the interconnting tunneling. Also for thoses that are stuck i recently got put on dermovate cream which is providing a lot of relief and reduction in swelling.
