One of the wildest comments I ever read lol. Reasonable Doubt? Life in Times Vol 1? 2? 3? The Dynasty? You missed the first half of his career. Hint - Its the best half.
There's a wierd phenomenon for years on smaller reaction channels to hate on and mislead the reactors regarding Jay; he's my favorite of all time, yet I also love Nas and other artists people try to place adversarialy to him. It's weirdo behavior. It's wearing off tho- and I've outright seen a channel that dealt with that for years and finally got to Jay projects just outright put a ban on that rhetoric/block people, after listeneing to The Blueprint lol.
The greatest to ever do it. #1. ppl just like to hate on everything now a days. he's also an older dude so his references are from a older generation so a lot of youngins dont understand what hes saying
" When krs already made an album called blueprint first biggie you man then you gotta nerve to say you better than big !? D!ck sucking lips ! " Ether 🔥🥵🐐 still burns
I agree to some extent but today’s so called rappers need to know where rap/hip began and show their respect. This garbage that’s out today is just that, GARBAGE! ‘90’s rap was the best whether you like east coast or west coast, east coast won that battle but these guys lived what they raped about. Nothing like Wu, Mobb Deep, Smith n Wesson, Gravediggers, Cypress Hill, Jay Z, Nas, Ourkast, Tribe Called Quest and Biggie
@@sjh100975 Jesus Christ this shit is so obnoxious. You know people were saying the same nonsense when everyone you just listed first dropped, right? Y'all "old stuff good new stuff bad" need to realize how dumb you look. There's always been great shit, then and now. Get over yourself.
Nas's "Ether" is a response to "Takeover" but i think you reacted to this didnt you? either way, Nas clapped like never seen before and the rest is history which is why we have the tern "You got ethered" when someone gets shut down. Here are the tracks Kanye produced: Izzo, Heart of the city, Takeover, Never Change, girls pt 2.. Just blaze produced: Girls, U dont know, Song Cry, lyrical exercise. Bink produced: The ruler's back, All i need, Momma loved me (blueprint), Timbaland produced: Hola Hovito. Trackmasters produced: JIgga that N*, Eminem produced Renegade.
Takeover was Jay coming for the crown that the ppl gave to Nas but Nas was not too active because he was taking care of his dying mother. Big damn mistake…
Big mistake from jigga , he got smoked exposed and retired in 2003 after black album . Then Nas had to sigh with def jam so jigga can drop an album again to be active
@GregoryBanks, you wrong man first of all Jay had already had the crown once Biggie was gone. No doubt Nas should have been next in line as good as a lyricst he is but it was complaints about him changing his styles and going commercial and or just not liking the quality of this music. Nas dropped 3 albums between Biggie Dieing and Take Over the Firm which I thought was a dope album but was not being felt like that at the time. On the other hand Jay dropped volume 1,2, 3 and the Dynasty album which in comparison to Nas 3 albums were better received And was doing his thing with alot of features. . I was around during that time and think they are both the goats but that was a reality at that time. Otherwise where would the narrative even come up about not falling off if he had the crown. Also have to push back on a false narrative about Nas was just a victim not really doing the music thing and Jay sneak attack him while he was taking care of his mom. Both Jay and Nas took several shots at each other over the years. Even before the Takeover and Summer Jam freestyle Nas was going at Jay on the clue eye4eye freestyle. And Takeover is a response to Nas freestyle Stillmatic/H to the homo over Rakim paid in full. Plus he was working on the Stillmatic album
Not true at all. Jay took the crown in 1998 with Hard Knock Life, during that time Nas was on the decline with 2 back to back duds and people were questioning how much time he had left, reason why Ether hit the way it did cause everyone at the time thought Nas was on his way out. Jay even alluded to this when he said “you fell from top 10 to not mentioned at all”
@@Dimespit " I am " a dud !? 😂 you people should seriously value your own opinion, don't forget I am was sabotaged and Nastradamus was not approved by Nas . But y'all haters forget to mention that . QB finest 2000 !? When did Jay-Z ever had a verse like on " self conscious" !?
@@juelz3451 yep and because of that Jay isn’t in my top 10 fav mcs even though talent wise he belongs. Nas, Prodigy, Guru, Mef, AZ, Common, Biggie, Black Thought , Kool G Rap, O.C., Jeru, Inspektah Deck, Rza and Pun. I prefer before Jay Z
And that line now haunts him 😂 when new album bro , he ain't dropping on same dates as Nas no more 😅 I wonder why , even Nas dissed him again on " Thun "
@@casteltheghettomonk4392 all nas new music sounds generic. he never evolved past making music for old dudes who think like high schoolers. he talks like a boss but he's just like all the other basic rappers out there.
@@juelz3451 2 trilogies in 3 years!? And y'all still hating , while jigga opened an museum with Nas lyrics 😂 on it lol . He always Nas biggest fan , always in his shadow . Only reason he mentioned ' relevant ' through Nas bro . Nas shut down all critics quiet 🤫 🤐
@juelz3451 never evolved? Making music for old dudes? Why he working with nothing but young cats the past few years then? 21 savage, lil durk, a boogie, aesop rocky, etc...why he got hitboy giving him trap beats to rap over? None of these albums sound alike unless you're just tone deaf.
@classicswagg1980 that Your comment was pointless. No need to make announcements That you don't like a particular artist he's reacting so your therefore sitting out. Just keep it moving to the next one..
@@njnatl09 yet you’re hear talking to me about nothing. You have no idea of the support I give homie. Which is actually mentioned in the comment. But you must be on here looking for attention. Why you on here talking to strangers anyway?? You ain’t got friends in real life?
I love jay z but nas destroyed his ass and stillmatic is so much better than blueprint, blueprint only have better beat reasonable doubt is the best jigga album
You just prefer Nas. Dont say he destroyed Jayz as if its a fact lol. There are way more people in real life that recognise Jayz as the superior song writer not to mention one raps fiction other raps reality
