Know what I love about Dissidia? The gameplay is completely incomprehensible if you just watch someone else play, but so intuitive for anyone who has played it.
OK, I know this is an old comment but... Yup, I can confirm it, I remember watching my cousin playing/watching duodecim and I was like "What? Why is that number growing when he attacks, does it Regen his health when you hit an attack? Why is that number glowing purple?", but now that I have over 50h on it I'm like, "OK, it's not that bad actually, it's very simple, I was simply way too dumb.".
If anybody is interested, hints are piling up that the new Dissidia Game which so far is only planned for japan arcadeds could also find it's way into the west and onto consoles :) Developer of the Arcade Version is Team Ninja, which also produced Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden for consoles for example and the engine the new Dissidia is based on is a PS4 engine!

Play and beat FF6. Terra is a hell of a lot more heroic than most of the main characters in the series. Her hesitation to fight comes from the fact she has the power of a god inside of her, and killed A LOT of people before she even had control of herself as a person, let alone that power. Game starts with her as a human slave, and her mind being controlled, for years, used as a living weapon. I would go so far to say she is the most powerful FF Protagonist so far, Lightning and Cloud included.
Back when I had a vita I played the hell out of this game and literally broke the directional pad from over use. If only Sony had of invested more into the vita, their handhelds were superior in the terms of hardware compared to Nintendos it just never got the support it needed
Agreed. I loved the fact that his attacks had extras to be added on as well as the fact that you could boost his strength or magic as one of his normal skills
Oh there's a special type of wool which can be used for that purpose, no idea what the english name is but the german is Salsa Wolle (sth. like Salsa Wool) which looks a lot like Squalls Fur collar and side attachments and can be sewed to cloth and leather.
@mitchel macdougall he is probably playing in EX-centric mode. ex cores appear like every minute completely fill your gauge and decline INCREDIBLY slowly
I've never played FF XI but as far as I know about her by checking out her backstory on the Final Fantasy Wiki she's a NPC with pretty mighty magic abilites
Don't have to tell me, he's not only my Main ind Dissidia / DDFF and all Final Fantasy History favorite character of all time, also I'm going to cosplay him tomorrow on GamesCom 2012 as I already did in 2011 ^___^
Well I wouldn't go so far as saying the first to get their ex gauge up in the original automatically wins. Look at some of the Dissidia videos I put on youtube. I think the only time what you said would be possible is if people with no lives and unlimited time on their hands grinded every item, summon, and everything the game had to offer in. If you get just what I had, battles are still fun while being able to do EX bursts early.
You have to beat the 000 Story Line. Can be quite hard and 000 can be assumed DDFF's "Hard" Mode. If you need some advice you can ask me or check out the Vids where I've beaten him.
Well, they have been pretty overpowered in the first installment and actually it's a good thing they changed that in my opinion. DFF was all about getting the Ex Gauge Up and whoever managed to do that and get a hit in was automatically the winner. In DDFF it is STILL possible though to get high damage, you just have to be more tactical. Reduce the Bravery of your opponent near break and get your own up high, THEN Ex Burst him, so you get the initial Damage of your Bravery and afterwards as a
eyep....only problem I have with this game compared to the last is the damage you could do with ex bursts was nerfed badly. Used to be able to do so much more with them.
Prishe's is actually pretty easy too, the first button you have plenty of time to press, then every successing button has just to be pushed clockwise. Or was it reverse clockwise? Anyhow, one of the two shall do the trick ;)

Normal sized ones was easy. The ones for the legs I needed children size....and try to find three black leather children size belts >_< Managed it though somehow ^^
As unlockable kind of "supersecret bonus character" I'd go with Feral Chaos, I mean, his attacks to get somebody into his Regnum Dei are very hard to dodge if you are inexperienced and once you have the opponent in it, it's literally unmissable as long as you do not let the timer run out, since all you have to do is press the trigger button, and before you do that you can still trash your opponent for good in there. Plus his Nexus Ultimus is SO strong, it even switches off the PSP for a moment :P
