012 had that melancholic feeling, the characters were strangers to each other, worse, having no memory made the world of Cosmos and Chaos all what they knew, that's the only thing they could cling to, and the fact that one day they woke up and were demanded to fight. Having to trust strangers in a foreign world in order to find way back home was what made the first game emotional

That would be great. Omnia is probably the most accurate crossover, with the characters actually referencing their world. Not to mention the myriad of other characters introduced. It'd probably take them years to release the whole story in PS5 graphics, but still.

And better voice actors too.

Very unlikely to happen. Kingdom Hearts, despite being made by Square Enix, is 100% owned by Disney alone. If they wanted to, Disney could kick Squeenix out of it entirely and there would be no case for Squeenix to make. Besides I think its fine as is, keeping Dissidia as strictly a Final Fantasy game rather than a Squeenix crossover game.

This game needed more interactions ( like bartz and zidane) and more time for story mode. Also all those features from 012.

@@firelordofkek4554 plus make the story not need battles outside of the story mode... Not to mention having something like chaos mode after would've been nice

They should have just made it like the two games before it. Those were amazing games that still hold up fantastically today. This one is just disgraceful

@@ChaosRose6 Yeah, but Lightning and Materia are intentionally abrasive while Cloud and Squall are warriors with some ptsd and would prefer to be alone more often. These ladies, they're written like if you don't like them or follow their orders or w/e, you're bad, or at least that's the impression I felt. Cloud and Squall don't really make it about themselves.

@@ChaosRose6 I think the writers may have overcompensated when they were told they had a diversity or some other social justice quota they had to fill so their content could be more "inclusive". It may not have been the case for this game in particular, but it is a growing trend in modern media these days. It's rather sad that most career game devs can't make the vision they want because they fear being canceled on social media and/or fired from their job if they don't tow the company's new line.

@@TrineofFire it's Japan they wouldn't do that, I think they tried making her more godlike as stubborn, they made her look more like a bad person, she wanted to defeat spiritus because she thought he wanted this worlds doom she is close minded
