I can attest to this method as well! I just finished cycling through my third round, although I do recommend at the very least, having a decent sized CLASS:##B fire extinguisher on hand, better to spend 80$ now than losing everything you own to a fire! Also keep the area well ventilated, and away from anything that could either feed the fire, or cause potential sparking. and always remember that complacency can easily maim or kill, this is an explosive chemical we all work with so always keep caution in mind when handling. but yes this product and method do work quite well IMHO.
I don’t know anything about this stuff but figure since it’s has a condenser to cool the vapor back to liquid you’d thank it be fine, also if you seal it wouldn’t pressure build up without way to release. But once collected yes would need to be sealed..
My distiller is the same as this but the 1.5l per hour model, mine does not flow all the time takes about 3hrs to get 1.5l of IPA, is this right I have tries settings between 85 C to 92 c ???? Can you help please, my IPA does have some water content
you shouldn't need to go above 82 degrees celsius to get the ipa to flow easily, in fact I wonder if there are no more risk to go higher and higher. try to contact the maker of your unit to ask and get better answers but you might have a defect in your unit
