Thank you very much, this was very helpful. My integra gsr distributor wiring harness and the sensor on harness was shot. Replace wire and sensor, got a code 8. Which is a tdc sensor. Reason why cuz the magnet wasn't even close. Readjust magnet . Now everything is working great. No more code.

Cool vid,I had trouble removing my old damaged icm from integra gsr obd2 distributor it seems stuck and I'm going to remove the dizzy tomorrow to make it easier.
damn it boii! I got a bit of a leak right where the distributor is. Is it possible to get away with it without disassembling the whole distributor? Could it be just the little O-ring that goes into the head?
Yes mate. This video shows the replacement of the internal seal, which will fix an oil leak into the inside of the dizzy. If the leak is external (originating from where the dizzy mates with the head), then replacing the o-ring on the end of the housing will sort this leak out. Mark your distributor position relative to the head, unplug everything, remove the 3 mounting bolts, and replace the o-ring.
Does anyone offer an oem rebuild service for those of us who have Hondata CPR conversion and no longer need the coil and igniter? I only need a rebuild for the remaining part of it. I currently had to replace it with a Duralast last one but my Billet cap doesn't fit with the aftermarket distributor. I know I know cosmetic only but it started getting to me over time.
I am putting a Obd2 H23a1 in a obd1 car and it won’t start... if I put the obd1 distributor internals in my Obd2 distributor... will that allow the engine to fire up...
+Dan Phillips No, Unless you replace all (( ALL )) Computer parts,,, which most do not work unless you go aftermarket,..,.,., While going after market there is no reason to do this.,.,.,.,, it will cost you more to do this,.,., than to get an engine swap to B-18 where more Options are Available.
It took me over a year to find that cluster. I think it was in a 97 B16 del sol. There's one in that red lines at 7200, one that red lines at 8000 and this one that red lines at 8200.
