That's a daft conclusion; they probably just like the original. No offense to Disturbed, but Simon & Garfunkel are far more talented. Also, this audio is not original - singer's voice was enhanced - so maybe the dislikes are for that.
@@ThisHandleFeatureIsStupid what talented than disturbed? Hahaha. Are you kidding? Disturbed can play metal music and the same time power ballad like this one. Musicianship and musicality dude metal band is way more superior than counrty band.
OMG I still can't believe that I was there in this crowd... That was so magical, one of those moments I will never forget. Great song, great cover....the best one. Meant to see Disturbed again on Download this year....:(((
Same, I was right at the back near the dog. The silence that fell over the crowd was absolutely spine-chilling. My first and best Download, despite the rain!
Holy shit!! Look at how big the concert was! Man..Perfect live version! This is haunting..Such a bad ass song!!!! Best cover EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the respect the crowd gave disturbed during this song.. I have watched so many live and so many reactions to this song.. can’t ever get enough of disturbed
What a performance! David's voice clearly heard from above the music and crushingly beautiful. I cry every time I hear this....three times today and it's only 8am! I'll be snivelling for years at this rate. Love it.
I am literally sat here covered in goosebumps and on the verge on crying!! I love this song as it is but hearing this for the first time I have now found my all time favourite cover!
Is it only me or doesn't the piano intro sort of remind of the opening of Total Eclipse of the heart? Not that it is identical or anything, it's just giving me a feeling of resemblance.
Good overall performance, shame about the pitch correction. Probably added on by the tv network in post. Wish there was un-manipulated good quality recordings from disturbed.
It is pitch corrected I'm afraid Jim. Not only can I hear that it's pitch corrected but there are a few other videos on youtube taken by people there on the day that clearly show he was a little off. Just to be clear I'm not "trash-talking" Disturbed or David Draiman, he and the band are great, and everyone has vocal slip ups, it happens. I was just say it was a shame that whoever decided to tune it made that decision as personally I'd rather hear all the little slightly off notes that make a performance real, than a vocal that has been manipulated to sound "perfect".
@@rebel200794 Not pitch corrected. Just listen very carefully at the very, very last word at the end - "silence". It goes slightly flat at the end. And to me it just makes the song better because then we know it's totally live. I totally and 100% love Disturbed's version of this song.
Much better than the conan live performance. They rushed him during that set and didn’t hit as good. Not saying it wasn’t a great performance but didn’t seem like he had time to build with the music and vocals
