You have the same reaction as most i guess that the song is pure beauty and sung by someone who holds his powerful voice back and treats the original with huge respect and reverence. You should try Nightwish ghost love score its pure poetry and its a mix of musical genres into one great experience.
First and foremost I want to say thank you for not pausing it and just taking it in. I have watched countless reactions and I rarely comment. It’s meant to touch you deeply and disturbed did it perfectly even simon and garffunkle said that the song is now his.. I might add that I have a huge crush on you now haha you’re absolutely beautiful and seem like a very deep and loving soul I subscribed to you immediately
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I’m really glad you appreciated that I didn’t pause the video-I wanted to fully experience the emotion and depth of the song. Disturbed did an incredible job, and it’s amazing to hear that even Simon & Garfunkel themselves acknowledged that. Your words truly touched me, and I’m honored that you took the time to share them, especially since you rarely comment. And as for the crush-you’re too kind! 😊 I’m grateful for your support and that you subscribed. I’m looking forward to sharing more moments like this with you.
Wow, your comment really brought a smile to my face-thank you so much! I’m glad you appreciated that I didn’t pause the video; sometimes it’s important to just let the music speak for itself. Disturbed’s rendition is truly powerful, and it’s amazing to know that even Simon & Garfunkel recognized that. I’m flattered by your kind words and that you decided to subscribe. Looking forward to sharing more meaningful moments with you here!
This song was used in a trailer for the Bonhoeffer film that's being released in November. The person/people who made that trailer did such a good job. I've never had a trailer live in my thoughts like that one does, and I plan on seeing it in cinema. I haven't been to a cinema since Mockingjay part 2.
David does a great job introducing a heavy metal full vocal fry to a new audience. He has such a beautiful voice that you don't really notice that he's roaring a tone rather than singing a note at the end. Switching back and forth into pure voice manifests the fry as just raw vocal power rather than sounding like a poor singer that is just shouting at you (which is how a lot of metal can sound).
People talking without speaking (texting) people hearing without listening , social media, if we don't turn back to each other humanity will be lost for good
My interpretation is that social media is destroying society. That’s what he meant by. We bow and pray to the neon God. And that music still lives and keeps us together. The two groups of people were separated by a river, and in the end the boat, which to me looked like Noah’s ark, took the instruments to the people who had no voices.
@@timgaston3276 Simon and Garfunkel wrote it in relation to television at that time. Things have evolved and my belief is that disturbed is talking about praying to the neon God in the sense that it’s our cell phones
Exactly, change some words, "Hello America my friend" and "To the Orange God they made" and it is an anthem for the Democrats in the American Elections.
