It's the simple things like good quality thumbnails that make this channel so good. I feel like not enough people appreciate or notice them so I wanted to specifically point them out.

Little known fact, Muhad Beastmasters and Muhad Tribesmen are both AP in melee. They use maces.

You guys get it all the time, and frankly deserve it, but you guys have done such an amazing job bringing this game to life, and to the public. Thank you so much. It was genuinely one the best days ive ever had when i discovered there is in fact a LOTR total war. And to have such a dedicated and talented crew on it is legitimately beyond any hope i had in my time

Exelent video as always. 27:56 In the overviews for V3, you used to say that one should multiply the pikemens attack stat by 3 to get a more accurate picture of how they might perform.

I think this must be the 4th or 5th rotation of these faction overviews but I still watch and enjoy all of them! Keep up the good work Galu

Honsetly I feel like Harad--whether through an event or they start with it--Should get a general whos on a mumakill, Since lets be real that unit is one of the main reasons you start a harad campaign when you first play third age

Thank you guys so much for doing all this work. CA really should hire your community to make an official Lord of the rings Total War which I'm sure you guys would be able to do on the equivalent of a shoestring budget. I really don't like how all these major companies are stuck in the dark ages of how things used to be done. Not only do they flush vast amounts of currency down the toilet with bloated projects and bloated staff (like middle management) and the inevitable corruption and inefficiency that follows , but they turn out an inferior product. does anyone else remember the Golden age of when you bought a game it was a complete and functional game and if it had any major bugs they typically released a patch in a timely fashion? do you remember how about 6 months to a year after the full and complete game came out they would offer a expansion pack that significantly increase the amount of content in the game and could almost be a second game and of itself at a reasonable price? Pepperidge farm remembers. Seriously three groups , two companies, that need to get their heads out of their asses about their hiring and IP: Games Workshop, the Tolkien Family, and CA. The sad thing is how many major companies most notably Disney studios hard lobbied and spent billions of dollars to get these added on protections and an extension of IP rights. Dozens of famous works would already be in the 'public domain' If not for these companies. In the old days an artist or an inventor got somewhere around 50-70 years of protections on his intellectual property or his invention patent to profit off of it which is almost an entire lifetime assuming you started in your late teens or somewhere in your twenties. Not anymore, it's been extended so much because Mickey mouse was about to enter the public domain and Disney was panicking. The really sad thing is is that many of these companies and individuals drew inspiration from earlier intellectual properties, IE DISNEY STUDIOS ENTIRE GOLDEN AGE OF FILMS.

i love that other mod projects are helping with models. the modding community is my favorite thing about video games in general. amazing.

I think the Harad bodyguard is one of the best bodyguard units in the game now, since they are still cavalry and have quite high numbers in comparison to DA and Rohan's cav bodyguard

This is looking really nice! One question though: will Dunedain factions (Gondor/Northern Dunedain/ Ard-Adunaim) be able to repair Annuminas? I feel like it could be accomplished if Annuminas was knocked down to a large city, then allowed to upgrade to a Huge City like Tharbad can in V3, or if the House of Kings was able to be rebuilt there like it is supposed to be in the lore. Also, is there anything in the works to handle the stability of the mod? I can barely go 30 minutes to an hour without the mod running into an unspecified error and crashing. Stability and Annuminas aside, I absolutely love this mod and can't wait for the V4 release. Keep up the good work! :D

It was taking the attack stat & multiplying it by 3 to get an idea of how good the pikes really are, was it not?

This may be obvious but you can put the 2 ships at the cross way near the capital and completely block off the north’s ability to cross

I think in the past Galu said that for pike units you only need to multiply the attack number by a certain amount to get their real attack number but I'm not sure.

Did you manage to deal with two handed weapons glitch? In MED2 there is a glitch which makes two handed units really weak because they tend to more block attacks than attack.

Would it not make far more sense if the unlocking of units was related to Battles Won? By showing your military might and power and the plunder you gain due to it, more tribes join you. So 5 battles won, 10 battles won etc. You say they are all nomadic and therefore possessing land does not matter to them (Ever heard of grazing lands?) and in pretty much the next sentence say that *possessing all that land* is what brings those tribes to join you.

Has the BUG at the logarth Bridge been fixed in 4 ? I'm currently using 2.2, a tad old so probably has. Bug is that there are High banks on the river meaning there are cliff face (impassable) all around the bridge entrance and road is impassable (battle map).

I think you are fighting the Dwarfs of Erebor and the Iron Hills. Firsrt of, t he individual soldiers per batallion looks kind of small. And seconded, they have catapults!

My divide and conquer v3 keeps crashes on end turns. Is there anything i can do to fix it?

Pardon the stupid question, but how do I remove the fog of war? I'd like to be able to familiarize myself with where settlements are located on this middle earth map, as a new player of the mod. edit: Second dumb question, are mumakils considered cavalry for the purpose of horse breeder guild? Because I'd sure like to be able to recruit them more than once every 40 turns.

I don't think that Harad should be using longships. They're obviously northern european-middlemen/northmen class of ships.

Why isn’t more of Harad a desert? Even Harondor on my map in the LotR is described in parenthesis (Now a debatable and desert land). So shouldn’t the land between the Poros and Harnen be like a African Savannah, and the land idk just south of the hill line below Faen’obel be actual desert?

Is this "unite the tribes" script also restricting the AI, when it plays Harad or is it just for the player?

Love these Galu. Question for anyone my launcher wouldn't work said error I needed to download the definitive edition now it launches but after I start a campaign at a high resolution the game eventually crashes when it never crashed before this. Then when I go back into the game it comes back in a low resolution it also turns on show computer moves when it wasnt on when I started. This game worked perfectly before I had to download this definitive edition...if anyone could please help me out. Thanks

The anti cheat stuff on TATW made me not want to play it. Single player game what business of anyone elses is it if someone cheats. Thats arrogant and entitled in the extreme.

Might I suggest giving the troll-men champions a shield stat of 1? In reality a skilled fighter with a shield on their back can make some use of it, coming from re-enactment experience. It's nowhere near as good as having it in your hand, but it is there and they're supposed to be elite. Also: Bree

Does movement speed differ between infantry and cavalry? I.e. is a cavalry with 100% speed as fast as an infantry with 100% speed, or do they have their own classes? Might be odd with cavalry such as Swan Knights being 90-95% speed while Hasharii are 110% speed.

Thanks a lot for your videos! I managed to get all rebel provinces around me and even khand capital (blue wizard attack) and am still ally with AA and Khand.

Is there a chance you wold consider having the basic Armoury built in (nearly) all capital cities? Since it never made sense to me that no one figured it would be a good idea before you take control to have the capital protected.
