i forgot to ask after the match, and i don't want to ping you on discord in case it's a bother, so i'll ask here: was the match laggy for you? on our side, it seemed really surprisingly smooth, especially when one of the players is living on the other side of the world
this was so god damn fun to take part in (I was djkiwiv, definitely nowhere near as experienced as the rest of these guys but it was still cool do join in with). i just wanna share the fact that after we (as tzeentch) lost, we unanimously agreed that we should've had 5 blue scribes instead of 3 lmao thanks so much for letting me take part turin :) and to anyone in comments, please tear apart my gameplay so i can improve :)
@@OklaZonie I definitely know - at the time, I thought that Saytang had wind bow'd him lmao. I ended up taking Aeson since nobody else was, thundag switched him out to go for a third blue scribes. Wasn't sure what to do with him, and he got popped way too quickly
Very much a fan of these massive thematic battles, they're really fun to watch. Hopefully they're not too hard to put together and we could get some more in the future.
Super epic! When the organ guns came to the rescue of Katarin and when they shot the flying flamers outta sky, chef's kiss. Would love to see more of this, especially if the mega force were skaven. Really show the Vermintide in full force!
If you're gonna do another 4v4, we need Saytang to team up with the Bone Giant, Necrofex Colossus, and Cygor to complete the large single entity firing squad.
I've been watching your content since the early TWII days and I gotta say that this is one of the most enjoyable videos yet! Absolutely love these large thematic battles, I know they're a pain to put together and play, but hearing that you enjoyed it (and hopefully the other players did as well) makes me hope we'll get to see more of this kind of thing because it was an absolute treat to watch.
Absolutely love to see this kind of content. 1 vs 1 is fun and interesting, but these massive battles are so thematic and fun that it's a great change of pace.
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! This was a lot of fun. I know that the lag is an issue and big multiplayer matches aren't practical, but I think that there is a place for more narrative battles that focus more on the story behind the fight rather than the tactics. Not to say that the tactics aren't a wonderful part of this channel, but seeing a battle with a nice narrative behind it was wonderful good work!
First of all, epic battle, and its a rare treat seeing such on any channel. Great idea to showcase the newest toys, honestly! Thank you guys! Liked the bit of lore explanation at the start as well, very thematic. Gameplaywise though, unfortunately, this was most of the broken and overpowered factions in the game for months with all of their most disgusting tricks up their sleeves. And just because there is 4x Tzeentch, that doesnt mean this was an equal match by far. Any and all demonic factions have a hard disadvantage due to demonic crumbling. Thats basically the passive of demons. Cost more than mortals and die faster, too. Meanwhile Kislev passive is op, Cathay harmony is op, Peasant+Knight synergy for Brets exists, and likely Dwarfs will get some op passive too, as if being already almost unbreakable wasnt enough. All the Ordertide factions had healing, even dwarfs via Felix. 3 Blue Scribes is just a hard meme, whilst the other side had mostly meta picks. Grombi isnt, but he was paired up with Gotrek and Felix still. Would have been just slightly more balanced if Brets were switched out for Empire, or one of the (less broken) elven factions were also present for Order. As a spectacle, it was unparalleled. Would love to see more, if you guys are willing to manage it. As a game, unfortunately I couldnt root for the Ordertide for a single nanosecond as soon as I saw the 4 S-tier factions being present. Perhaps not for Dom, but in land battles its the way they are. The only more meta pick would have been switching Dawi for Lizardmen, as those are firmly in the top3 now in both LB and Dom.
Can't wait for the Empire and Dwarf DLC to come out, its waaaaaaaaay overdue for these 2 races to be on par with the rest of the races in terms of roster and mechanics.
This was great! Love some massive cinematic battles. The other channels are alright, but having someone who knows multi-player casting it is exceptional.
I was watching on my television, but I switched over to my phone just so that I could say thank you for this kick ass match. Well done, folks. That was fun as hell to watch.
What a showcase! Congrats to the stalwart defenders of the north and GG WP to the Tzeentchian hordes for bringing wild, interesting, terrifying builds. I know it takes a lot to organize the logistics of this kind of match but it's worth it. Def want to see more! Getting to see layered defences that mix and match the strengths and weakness of the factions is great but when the strategies are in the hands of top tier players like this you know you're in for something great!
I think this is one of the best videos you have ever made. Hands down. I know that this stuff is hard to organize, but this was a sight to behold not just as an RTS fan but as a warhammer fan.
Amazing showcase, and so little-to-no lag *-* Really really cool to see a battle of that magnitude played by great players, it was so epic I kept pausing to observe the battlefield anytime Turin would zoom back. Cool times to be alive folks
Love this format, Turin. I know it must be much more time-consuming to properly edit, but those cuts to diferent perspectives and replays of important moments felt really smooth. I would deffinitely like to see more videos like these.
i can't describe how insanely cool is Saytang, watching an epic 4v4 battle and he's there like a boss shooting his damn Gundam missiles on his enemies with those cool af animations, I LOVE IT!! MORE 4V4 BATTLE!!!!!!! SUPER ENTERTAINING!
That was a lot of fun! A little difficult to follow the action with such an expansive battlefield but it adds to the epicness of the whole thing. I'd love to see more of that kind of thing. Katarin's charge to save the organ guns with the Golden Knight and the Patriarch was so cool to watch!
team battles on this scale are an interesting idea for both lore and for the clusterfuck that ensues as it allows all sorts of builds to shine through without being hard countered immediately by their opponent
I would definitely like to see more battles like this. Even if it's just a rare change of pace like once a month. It's such a shame TWW doesn't have dedicated servers so we could have matches like this more often.
It would be really cool to hear the communication between the players asking for help or fire support! I can't imagine the chaos happening in the comms to maintain the lines
Fun video, I'd recommend for any future ones like this that players changing faction banners to avoid all blue banners would be handy, very hard to read at times when order are all using flags with blue against tzteench in blue
It'd be great to experiment with this format ... Have for example three armies fighting, one at a disadvantage however with a friendly army having to cross a significant amount of the map as reinforcements to assist (Blucher at Waterloo style)
