So your last one spawns in fractals. The boring shots are converging into a single number early, the infini-wisps are going infinit inside the boundaries of time/space. In the mandelbrot fractal the black bubbles are the converging numbers and the wonderful colors are the ones going to infinity. So mathematicaly your wand says something on the lines of zn+1 = zn^2 + c Pretty amazing creation!
I'm glad someone knows whats going on cause I just throw stuff together that looks neat. I love fractals and want to make some builds that spread out into fractals more =)
@@Nymphs it's great stuff! You're basically creating realtime fractal generation :) I'm wondering how the input numbers are generated. I love your wand building. I don't think my Laptop can handle this game, but I would certanly try to go for the most ridiculus stuff
That is fair but once divide spells are unlocked then you can find them everywhere an for 2x it is an alchemist unlock so a chainspell+2x could make a healing bolt infinite =) make sure it has piercing or it will die when it touches the ground
@@Nymphs Well in the video you said that finding certain spells in a run is damn near impossible, but you can get the same outcome with other ones that are easier to find. So like substitutions for modifiers or spell, and what are good combos and things to look out for in the long run. I also struggle a bit in my own runs with deciding wether a wand is good or not depening on the states and/or the spells I have at my disposal. Granted I havent finished the game once yet so it's to be expected that I don't know as much as you, but it would really help me and others who are just starting out to have some knowledge to fall back onto. Sorry if this is to much 😅 I just appreciate the fact that you took the time to read my comment and respond and consider my questions. It means a lot to me. But yeah, anyways thats what I think would be usefull info to know about.
@@dannamic7794 sounds like a good noita 101 video ill throw something together I have a few videos that I need to get through but will definitely come up with something ^.^ also I appreciate you taking type to write something our for me to describe what you want to see =D if in the future I miss it or RU-vid doesn't even show me know that I appreciate you =3
I just realised that I somehow created an infini-wisp by complete accident some time ago in the hiisi, before I had beaten the game - The only indication here was the 'impressed gods' message since this unnoticed wisp surely met its end colliding with a wall or enemy soon afterward. How is this possible? Was it a false positive?
Lol the most common ones are just single modifiers like a spitter bolt with a chainspell or a sparkbolt/burst of air with a reduce lifetime =) these have a 6.66% but there isn't a false positive for Infini-wisps that I have seen so far =p
I guess youtube compression a way to fix it is upload a 4k video but I tried it with my gawd run and the render time jumped from 8 hours to 28 so.... I have to live with it fucking up some times XD
The divide by spells are kind of silly because they don't function the way you think. The original spell is deleted and new spells are created in their place and cast at the same time. Modifiers: The spell (for some reason) cannot properly divide a modifier. Instead it just creates two copies and doesn't delete the original. The missing deletion effect will be displaced to later in the wand on a real projectile spell, at first opportunity. Might be why you needed a divide by spell on the wand refresh. The original got deleted from this carry over deletion effect but divide by doesn't require the original to exist for the copies.
Speaking of divide by 10... Noitavania mod isn't compatible with Selectable Classes cause it isn't updated to include the Cursed Greed perk, since it modifies the tree for class select room.
I'm sorry the dashes are mainly just place holders so if anything changes it will be easy for me to add or fix they are nothing you don't need any spell for dashes
Do these spells get saved so that they persist even if you restart the game? If so, is it possible to get rid of them without mods? If you change them with a “spells to….” spell, is the new projectile also infinite?
I forgot what happens when you save and quit with wisps I'm pretty sure they persist even when you load again. I know they stay in chuncks if you move away from them. The problem is when the spells are transformed they start their lifetime of the spell they are made into. Why I uses spells to...X to get rid of wisps
@Jan Andrzejewski another thing is if you can leave their ring of influence ie. Teleporting, moving fast, or even going invisible they will loose interest till you get to them again. With a single boomerang it's very easy to "get rid of them" I really like to divide by boomerang if I want my wisps loyal =) a problem you might run into is divide by 10 will grab modifiers thats its not supported to like increasing lifetime and ect. To fix this put the div10s and boomerang or homing at the last infront of the spell and then a div spell followed by a wand refresh(reset purple circle spell it's been months since I played XF)
@@Nymphs Thanks, I created my very first infinite spell, being a giga black hole using your divided wand refresh trick. It (un)fortunately didn’t survive restarting the game though.
So I thought of including a save00 of all my test maps the problem is that if you replace save00 you could wipe your progress ill make a video on how I get these labs built and will be a lot easier for individuals seeking to make something or testing =D
In an upcoming video I'll provide this world but it is custom built by yours truly =p the google doc has an older version and as always if you do replace your save 00 be careful ^.^
This one is for after unlocking divide by sorry for the miss leading title but it does make Infini-wisps easier when for example a omega black hole would need 23 reducelife times and 2 chainspells and a pingpong path. If you look at how to make Infini-wisps that video shows the concept of them and is new player friendlier.
