Diving Smith Lake 

I have a new camera that I'm excited to try-out there. Hopefully I'll post another Smith Lake video soon.

Normally, the fish get scared off by the bubbles. I've seen some good size catfish, though.

Well I started with the Cullman Police Department diving and from there it's just been one adventure after another. I knew I'd be diving smith lake and trained for it. It's not for everyone. But to bring closure to families of victims is the reason I dive it.

Only went to about 80 Feet on this dive. The cold got to me and I surfaced. It was about 120 Feet to the bottom. I went back later a little more prepared next time. I wish I would have recorded it.

Maybe next time, we would love to see it! I’ve seen the old photos of the construction of the bridge and the visual depth of it. But to see what’s below it now has so many people curious along with myself. It’s fascinating to watch first hand the sights deemed impossible by the general public only to be revealed by your diving team. Thank you for sharing with us! There’s something I was told about by many local elders. The boat ramp beside the bridge is actually the old road that went down and meandered beneath the bridge and crossed an old covered bridge just to the right or North of present bridge. I’ve so often wondered if it is still standing or if currents could have taken it down? Again, thank you. I enjoyed the video so much!

Meant to ask, did you make it to the bottom? This is all incredible!

Awesome. It use to be a popular swimming hole. I jumped off that bridge to many times.

If you would use a comma or a period, your statement would make more sense.

There are several pieces of equipment at the bottom of Smith Lake. After the dam was completed it rained so much the water rose to fast.

In some parts of the lake, yes. This spot were just limbs and trash.

It's actually Lewis Smith Lake in Cullman, AL., but most people here call it Smith Lake.

What did you think you would see down in 100 feet of water lol he wasn’t diving Nassau Bahamas where it’s clear and blue lol
