This seems like excellent information but you are glossing over so many details here. How do you get skill books? Can you make them? How do you get high tier skill books? How do you know what skills require a regular skill book and what skills require a high tier skill book like Apotheosis? Then you go right into combining skills of two different types, and you describe Raining Blood. I’m trying to find a resource to learn about this mechanic, but this video presumes I have a lot of experience or knowledge with the game that you just don’t start playing with.
You get skillbooks from Traders. You can also make skillbooks using certain items(wouldn't recommend unless 200 iq). You get higher tier skill books as you level your character up. You unlock those and the trader will have them at level 9, 13, and 16. Combining skillbooks is something that isn't needed and I would suggest playing through once without the complications. If the skillbooks you're combining require source it will combine into the stronger source spell. If its say fireball and chicken claw, it will be the non source spellbook as those spells dont use source.
I've read you can get blank skill books starting with Exter, but when I trade with him, he doesnt have any. Have they gotten rid of blank skill books now ? I'm playing on explorer mode if that matters. Thanks!
Wondering, that available skills book, in which all your skills are listed, startin from 1:22 - that only in the PC version? I cannot seem to find it in the PS4 version, but an overview like that would make life a lil bit easier, I guess.
@@saschaeggert2148 just hold left trigger, move right analog stick to bottom right corner where it should say SKILLS and I think that is what you want? Have played this game quite a lot on xbox and ps4
@@Gomu_Gomu_No_ This I know of course. But this whole layout here looks so vastly different on PC. So to me, it looked like you have an actual skill book where all available skills are listed, not only the ones you have already learned. When I enter this section on PS4, only stuff that you found or bought and learned during the game is shown in your skill book. Here it looks like you have some kind of skill encyclopedia with an overview of what can be crafted before you learn these skills. Hope this explains it a lil bit better.

I tried to make a summon artillery plant spell book assuming i would need a high tier earth book (source spell), but it did not work. I don't see a vendor with regular blank spell books. Any chance you could confirm this uses a regular book?
how to craft "Hail Storm" spell? it requires only "5 hydrosophist" and nothing else, so i got no idea which spells need to be combined and for some reason i cant craft "Chain lightning" by combining "Blank book" and "Cain Lightning scroll".. wierd..
but you are not showing how to craft a blank book! it's obvious i have to combine a scroll and a book to get the skill book but how do i craft the book?
Evasion Aura is craftable by combining Huntsman and Aerotheurge (one of them has to be a Source skill). Uncanny Evasion is for sale from Aero. skill book vendors.
how are you crafting things? when i go to the well, i put mushrooms and empty potions together, and there is no option to create or anything. this is dumb
