To my knowledge, this is currently the best video on RU-vid for the divisibility rule for 7 and I say that after having watched thousands of math videos from nearly 800 channels. Have you considered doing a video on the divisibility rule for 13? It's similar, just quadruple the last digit instead of doubling it, and add the result instead of subtracting it.

@@Kryo_Gaming The divisibility rule for 13 is no more difficult than the rule for 7. There's just two small differences, as I've mentioned. If you want to know why the rules for 7 and 13 work, you'll need elementary algebra, and to know a couple basic properties of the divides relation. I have a page on my site explaining the proof. You can find my site through my RU-vid channel, if you like. The page is titled "Proving the divisibility rules for 7 and 13."

This is the best video ever yet, this not only is the best solution ever yet but it's the most easiest! Like really, for my books it's very advanced. So hard to calculate but this video shows the best solution for Divisiblity Rule of 7. Thanks!

You can also multiply the final digit by 5 and add it to the remaining number. Keep going and you will eventually finish with 7. If the number is divisible by 49 (7²) the result will always be 49.

I've come up with a really quick method for the big number divisibility check of 7 in my head. It also works with other number divisibility checks. The trick is to realize that a really big number, like one with 100 digits, can be subtracted by 2 and 1 digit numbers anywhere you like. The numbers you subtract must be divisible by 7, since for example 56217 = 56 * 1000 + 21 * 10 + 7, so 56 and 21 can be erased, leaving 7, which means that 56217 is divisible by 7 since the parts adding up to 56217 are also divisible by 7. I'm leaving out the multiples of 10 multiplications in the example below, since they only take up space. Easiest is to start from the left and reduce the big number using 2-digit numbers divisible by 7 to reduce the digits from the left, use these: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84, 91, 98. Start from the left, keep track of leftover digits, reduce at least one digit at a time. Example: Is 39976003879 divisible by 7? 39976003879 -35 = 4976003879 -49 = 76003879 -7 = 6003879 -56 = 403879 -35 = 53879 -49 = 4879 -42 = 679 -63 = 49 => YES!
