As an SDA and also having marriage difficulties. Things I saw in this couple 1) as the bible says, emotionally and physically the two become one and start their own family. Husband rely on God and wife... Not from his father and mother. 2) About being religious... Husband and his former family (father mother siblings) can only pray and be a good example. Let God change her (she build trust and love for God). Don't enforce to a non-believer bible truth if she doesn't know yet the reason why. However, she should be a respectful person (as an SDA one thing not to do is bring in the unclean food) Once the wife understand the reason of not to eat pork and certain seafood... She can decide with the grace of God to follow. The more we force things... The more non-believers will back away. Give time for her to open her heart to God

Some yes but just like everything there is a limit to what he should be sharing with his mother especially about his wife don't you agree?And we all want a man who loves and respects his mom cuz that pretty much tells you he will treat you the same way but there needs to be boundaries he's a grown man.
