Don't date anyone for at least a year after your divorce is final. Do the things you want to do. You'll find in that year that getting into another relationship won't change your life for the better. Being by yourself makes it better. Trust me on this. Friends, family, people you know people from church, everyone will try to fix you up. Why? Because they want you to be as miserable as they are. I did a 6 week trip through india and nepal before i considered asking her to marry me. i had enough money to get home early if it went badly and it was good to see how she coped when things got stressful and being so close all day every day (as opposed to just after work). we had our moments (everyone is going to get grump 6 weeks in a 3rd world country), but i was happy that we did the trip so i could see how unreasonable she could get, and she was fine (or at least not irrational). 5 years and 2 kids later, i am happy i did the test as we have had other stresses to deal with and that experience helped me work out how to manage her through them.

My first wife I met in the Philippines and the second in Guatemala now together for over 20 years. She works and isn't totally dependent does a good job and is a good mate. An American woman isn't something I'd seriously consider.I teach English as a second language and meet many Mexican woman that would work out well if the need ever is there.

Had a woman tell me she was pregnant and I got so excited. In hindsight maybe she was trying to scare me off but she got the opposite effect, I went into overtime mode. She was picking fights with me every day for a couple weeks and I was taking it. It just made her more upset. She finally wanted to go to counseling. As a divorcee, I can tell give yourself some time. Maybe 2-3 years. Jumping right into LTR is a bad move. Part of your mind is still blue pilled. But another part will eventually go red pilled. And that chick will be your burden. Take some time make sure you really want LTR. Otherwise you will end up in another divorce. I hear so many red flags there.

So basically this guy is not only trying to negotiate desire, but he is also trying to negotiate, stability, compassion, and basic household skills, and so far he hasn't even mentioned a prenup again. What could possibly go wrong? Hmm.

I am currently with a woman from the east for almost 8 years now so here some tips which I hope might be useful. 1/ the communist system even if over for a while now did force people to rely more on eachother for support as life was hard. Thus friendships and network in general if often of higher intensity than in the west where people have a general tendency to replace human relationships with pleasure related with things one can buy. Thus a eastern woman who is ready to give up on her local relations network for a western guy she barely knows and who thinks he can put a long list of pre-requisites on her because she is from a poorer country is often not a good way to ensure correct filtering of high quality women. 2/ the brain "chips" of eastern women are usually somewhat more "basic" than those of western women. Good news is that they are often hard working and used to men "flaws". They will not put a list of prerequisites as long as her arm. He does not drink ? He does not beat her ? He got some income ? Great !! I take him. That's a nice change as compared to the often completely unrealistic requirements western girls would put forward. Now the bad side of that more basic "brain chip" is that in many eastern women's view men are not the strongest pilar of society. The demographics are such in many eastern countries that women are more numerous than men by a few percents. There is often not that much loyalty and commitment from men and women are used to that. Thus these low expectations have their price too. In the way that eastern women will more often than not find it not easy to strongly bond emotionally with men. They will bond strongly emotionally with their women family members, female friends. You may find yourself a bit lonely and often handled with loads of pre-judgements regarding men (men are all pigs etc...) often more than with western women. 3/ Check for daddy issues. Huge number of families in the east are broken ones. The father isn't there anymore since the very begining. Either he died, or he left, or has alcohol problems. Dating women with daddy issues can be hard. You are more of a disposable object that with women who had a strong & healthy relation with their dads. It's not all bad, but it can be tough. Plus women with good relations with men usually find a husband in their own country. 4/ If you go with an eastern woman because you think that you can get more because she is poorer will send her a clear message that you deserve to be screw.d as soon as she establishes herself more securely in that wealthier more equalitarian country of adoption. Reason is that you establish a transactional relation right from the begining. Loyalty is not something that can be obtained through a contract. So I would instead advise that you make sure you trully love her as a person (and it takes a lot of time to get to know her well). That only will trigger loyalty. Question her about herself, about her childhood. Being interested in who she really is will likely hugely increase your chances of long term success . If you don't do the work, don't complain if you get screw.d later on. They are much tougher people than you western guys, she comes from an environment like 5 times tougher than Sweden and that list of yours run the risk to be teared to pieces sometimes in the future when she is strong enough in her new country of adoption, and righfully so.

There is something that I don’t understand: some men complain about toxic feminism but take full advantage of the 50/50 culture, which a product of feminism. For all the problems in Sweden, one thing they have correct is alimony and child support. Alimony is always very temporary and only in extreme cases, and child support is capped at reasonable levels with the default being shared custody and no child support.
