Dixiana 

The former Smokey Mountain Railroad Shay was built by the Lima Locomotive Works in October of 1912. Discovered by Norman Clark in an Appalachian Mountains Forest in the town of Dixiana, Virginia in 1958, the "rusty pile of junk" described by Clark was brought to Felton, California and the Dixiana became the very first steam locomotive of the Roaring Camp fleet. Since the railroad's opening in 1963, she has remained a fixture of the line every since.
