I don't understand how this video doesn't have more likes. These microlocs are absolutely GORGEOUS! I'm so ready to restart my 3rd set of locs 🤦🏾‍♀️ and this time around I'm indecisive about how I want to start them with either traditional or microlocs. I have been leaning more towards microlocs as they are absolutely beautiful and more versatile.

Awwwwwww I’m so glad!!! I did use the braiding and banding method up to like 9 months because my hair in the back has such a loose curl pattern and it takes longer for the locking process to occur……I would definitely recommend using it for awhile to prevent unraveling! I was getting a retie monthly the first 6 months and then every 2 months. At my one year mark decided to try resisting my microlocs which I’m in love with that method and will do another in about 2 months
