I just can't get enough of your channel...I am a carpenter and photographer and have spent the last 19 yrs restoring my old house that was built in 1836...and in my spare time I love to do crafting...You have inspired me to get back at it....I love to do everything from cross stitch, crocheting, sewing, drawing, painting, and of course all the new upcycling of objects that just need a little TLC...So thank you so much for the inspiration!!!!
Just can't say enough about how awesome you are! I used to watch a lady decorate her home- several times a week-. She went shopping all the time and had an entire basement full of store bought decor. I don't have money for those items. I love what you do and it's affordable.
I absolutely loved everything! However, the decoupage bunny was my favorite too! I have some very lovely paper napkins from MacKenzie Childs, I’m going to start decoupaging all of my ugly bunnies! 🐇 🐇 🐇 🐇
Just found this one, and must tell you I love gallery walls, and believe mine are unique. I have two. One, going down a wide stairwell, is full of old frames with old historical photos of our ancestors. We go back several generations on both sides of our families! The other is in my great room; it is a gallery of paintings all done by our parents' generation. There are quite a few artists in the family! I know it's different, but I love it!
I recently found your channel and have been watching your older videos. I adore what you did with the bunny here. You were able to turn something that would otherwise be considered kitschy to be quite elegant. Your videos are very informative and I appreciate your quirky and eclectic style.
I love that you don’t just paint your finds and just add a few flowers or bows; you cut wood, deconstruct, saw wood, drill holes and change things entirely if needed or only a soft touch if not. I had given me confidence to use tools and be more ambitious!
Love everything you make. Very professional. Please stay the way you are. When I decoupage if there are wrinkles I take a fine point needle and make a few tiny holes and rub with my finger and the wrinkle ago away. Keep making beautiful videos.
I love bunnies also and that would be my pic. The wagon and note shelf were so cute. I hope to do some items as you did with it. I am loving your channel. It’s hard to turn it off. Thank you very much.
Wow!!! Love how everything turned out!! I did not think I would like the bunny, but I agree, he turned out amazing and I want to try that on some bunnies too!!🙂
Nicole, thank you so much for watching my little channel! I recognized your name right away. I have watched some of your videos! I am going to binge on your videos today! Would you consider doing a collaboration? You are so much better at this RU-vid stuff than I am. I could learn so much from you.
I especially loved the bunny it turned out so well, though it needs a light pink nose to complete it. You are so talented; always enjoy your unique insights. 🐰
The decoupaged items are definitely my favorite the bunny and canister turned out so nice..... it’s amazing how many projects you’re able to do with a pack of napkins bit the simplicity of the botanical print in the vintage frame also speak to me I would enjoy a side by side comparison pic of the before and after upcycles though because waiting until the end of the video and seeing the styled items incorporated into existing decor is hard to picture the original pieces. Everything turned out excellent and I’m sure everything you upcycle doesn’t last a day in your resell shop.🌿
Decoupaged rabbit came out so cute. Now we are on the hunt for little animals on which to try this technique. I'm thinking large piggy banks, kitties, roosters, owls, jungle animals...You've given us some great ideas!! Thanks. Your videos are very inspiring as well as educational.
Loved the rabbit! I have one almost like yours. Can't wait to dress him up. Now I'm going to binge watch more of your super-fantastic videos. Thank you. I'm a big fan.❤️
Thank you, Kate! Any animal figurine can be transformed with Mod Podge and a napkin! Have fun, and thanks so much for watching and leaving me a comment!😊
Got a suggestion, it makes cleaning silk flowers so easy. I stick them in the dish washer on quick wash with one pod. And done. Just let them dry and ready to craft. Been dong it for years. Makes my life easier. It is so dusty here in farm country. I couldn't keep up with it other wise. Another tip I also do this with sneakers. Have since 1987. That is when I had the first baby. Japanese lady taught me both in the military
You are so creative! I have tons of thrifted items but nowhere to work on them. I guess I do it vicariously by watching you and a few others. You always make me want to work on my stuff but it's all in storage so I hope I can someday. I'm definitely going to find a bunny to decoupage...it's adorable!
I love everything you do! I am getting ready to do my first show next month using many of your ideas. I’m so excited and really nervous . Thank you for all your help and ideas!!
P. S. Love your sweater. I live in Illinois. Love the telephone shelf. That wooden vase is awesome. Much bigger than it looked when you first showed it. Great items and ideas! The rabbit turned out wonderful as well!
Everything is so cute! I love everything, but if I had to choose one thing, I guess it would be the little wagon you turned into a flower cart. Thank you for another wonderful video. ❤️
You are amazing! I like how you keep your projects easy and interesting. Your vignettes are so beautifully arranged. I also appreciate your video's are to the point and not overly long. Looking forward yo all your upcoming video's.
Thank you! Sometimes I think I need to explain things more, but I try to keep the videos to around 15 minutes. That means that a lot gets cut out during editing. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
@@CanterburyCottage this is much appreciated! Some youtubers are so redundant in their commentary- “then I used my waverly chalk paint in the color Moss by Waverly chalk paint to paint this piece with Waverly chalk paint” lol your commentary is delightful and clear and doesn’t make me feel like I’m being talked to like I’m 8 yrs old!
Oh my word ... Wow just wow ... Totally mesmorised with all in this video ... And the little bunny rabbit so so lovely ... A great big thumbs up from me xxx
You are so creative with your ideas! I used to just walk on by all the ugly stuff in the Thrift Store…but I am now looking at everything with new eyes!
Yay! I have gotten some strange looks at Goodwill before when I check out with a cart full of really ugly stuff! One time a lady pointed at something and said, “Well, that will make a good white elephant gift!”😜
Great job on upcycling all of these beautiful treasures! I really love how you take an item that may be overlooked and turn it into a wonderful, useful item. Also, patioelf and Decoupage D.I.Y. with Joan-Marie Domino both have some helpful hints on decoupage techniques. It would be a cool video to see you do a collaboration project. Thank you again for all the wonderful items you create! 🙏🏻😊
I also loved your rabbit in fact I like all of your project's!! Your videos are very informative and easy to understand. Glad I found you on U-Tube! Can't wait to see more of your projects!!
Hi. 😃 I happened upon your channel. You are lovely and soft spoken. Everything you did was absolutely adorable! So so creative! Thank you for sharing and all your hard work!! All the best! From Canada.
