poorly explained vedeo.you should have shown how you cut the piece in the beginning properly.difficult to follow the steps because tutorial was not good
Great idea but lousy instructions. Do you cut out the 20 x 28 inch piece out exactly? She doesn't specify this as she shows both pieces lined up. Then says line up the longer piece first, what does that mean, put it on the bottom? Then she says sew down both sides, which sides? And then finally, how on earth do you come out with a 5 inch loop??? I would love to make this if I can figure it out or I will just have to wing it and do it my own way.
Would you be up to doing an update version of this adorable snuggle bed, with step by step instructions...I’m not sure how you folded it after you cut the fabric piece out. Would love to Meade these for shelter dogs 🐕 PLEASE!!!
Yup, got lost also, but think I can work it out, or something like it, with brown paper pattern. I think I’ll make the long piece goes on the bottom with the pillow case on top, left open to where the fold will be..... like the simplicity and low cost for sure. Great idea!
This is an excellent and very doable project. However, I am an expert quilter and intermediate seamstress... and those directions leave a lot to be desired. They left me confused with only a slight idea of what to do. I'm sure beginner sewers would just say forget it! I'm going to have to use her design and create my own version. I hope you figured it out Beverly!
Cute idea and looks easy but steps are definitely missing from my perspective. I am hesitant to go to the blog post due to extra steps with Chrome extension. I haven't given up yet.
Hi, I'm from Poland, and this is a really easy and nice tutorial, I wanted to make a warm and comfortable bed, for winter with a "roof" made of a blanket, so my dog could cover himself with it, , and it will be an "input" for a wooden bed, I just have to figure out what to do with the horns, because I wanted to cover the hard wooden horns, but I will use this tutorial, thank you 🫵✔️
That was so unclear, how many of thos blankets did you buy? How many pollows did you cover? Howmany pocket beds did you make? It was very confusing. You showed both dogs in a pocket bed.
It wasn't confusing at all. You're obviously just an idiot and too dumb to understand. People like you need to just go to the story and buy a damn dog bed and call it a day.
Yes!!! Lost me as well. Did my own thing. And turned out pretty darn good. A friend of mine looked at instructions too.she said same thing. Instructions not good!!
I'm not sure how you are sewing the two pieces together, I attempted to make one the other day and it was a disaster, could you please be a little more detailed step by step I love this project but I guess I need a little more step by step to understand it. Please and thank you.
What a cute project! My beloved Dakota is over 100 lbs and about 6 feet long when she stretches out, so I would need to multiply your numbers several times, but this project would be GREAT for our kitties. Again, thanks so much.
The removable cushioning without having to install a zipper is genius. If the cushioning isn’t removable, drying it after washing takes a long time and you never know if you got it completely dry.
I want to make one of these for my medium sized chubby Beagle but I'm not sure how many yards of flannel or what size throw to use. I want it to be big enough for her to turn around inside since she loves burying herself under blankets & pillows. Any suggestions?
Damn. Wish I'd seen this before following a totally different tutorial and spending time making pleats and stuff. This is incredibly simple, I'm not sure why other commenters had such a hard time following.
I just made this and it did not work.....you skipped too many steps! Can you please show how you cut and then fully show how to sew together.....I wasted a whole blanket! Thanks!
Brilliant! I didn't want to make a circle pet bed. I also wanted to use an old pillow without having to unstuff and restuff something else. And I wanted a "hood" for my pet to be able to cuddle into..and I have looked for videos and this is the 1st one that is easy and OMG and I'm excited. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
new subscriber love you're dog and your voice i dont have a dog but this might sound weird but in actually thinking about using this really cool bed for by silicone baby and my reborns!
Thx for the video! Got the blanket and pillow and am so excited to be making this for my Lucinda Louise a.k.a Lucy Lou. She loves to burrow so this is going to be perfect for her.
