Did that by making a pair of adapters from 6S balance cables a long time ago. With adapter cabled from WST connector to anything. The main benefit is the possibility to put whoop batteries (and other 1S LiPo's) into storage mode when summer come and you are witching to 5" freestyle.

Good content. Well described. Maybe worth mentioning the charge setting to use with the serial rig. Most chargers also enable 1S charging, so a parallel rig I find is usually better. (All + to XT60+ and all - to XT60-). This way you do not have to have the rig full to charge (but check the voltages of the individual batteries are close before charging). Both parallel and serial charging can get batteries to storage charge.

Pretty nice work, dude. 😊 I already made 2 cables like that, one with a 2s balancing lead and the other with a 3s balancing lead. 😊

Do I have to care about the starting voltage of the 1S batteries? For example can I connect 3.3, 3.6, 4.0 and 4.2 to this setup? Does the charger can handle the offsets of the single "cells" and balance them?

Good question. No, you can use cells with different voltage. The charger will balance them.

Hey, I have another auestion. Is it possible to make a 6s cable but then connect just for example 4 batteries to it and charge? Or will I need an extra cable if I sometimes need to charge just four and sometimes six?

Hi, using this method you will need to connect 6 batteries if you're using a 6s balance connector.

Nice video buddy. But XT60 is not male but female. I ordered male as you said in description and its the wrong one. :/ The one you are using has hole in contacts - female. Anyway thanks. :)

Thank you for your great videos. Would it be OK to use the same adapter to use the 4 1s as a 4s pack in the quad? I am thinking to buy a new quad and I what to use my 1s batteries. Thank you

My pleasure. Yes you can, but you will end up with a very heavy 4s 300mah (depending on the cells) battery and I don't recommend it.

So I can charge two lipo batteries with jst in parallel? What if they are in parallel but only one jst is connected to a power source... would that still charge both of them?

You need all the batteries to be connected in order to use this adapter.
