DIYs sometimes take awhile to get going but seeing as how this is a common issue, aslong as you have the right tags amd title it should do well for you

Where's the video of how you did the vacuum and then add the refrigerant back? I've got a 2015 sierra that I probably need to do this as well.

I actually ended up taking it to the shop down the street and they recharged for $80. It was need up being the quicker and cheaper solution.

@@TexasRedneck to get a good AC machine is quite expensive. You can get a cheap on off Amazon but it might only work a couple times

@@BROCKgoFAST I was gonna rent a vacuum machine and gauges from Oreily's, they have a tool rental program.

@@TexasRedneck let me know how that works out. I’m curious. It was tough to pass up $80 and saving 4hrs of my time

Does the transmission fluid not need to be replaced?

@@BROCKgoFAST i have a small puddle on my driveway from tilting up the old condenser to get the plastic off of it. Made me curious how much was lost inside it because it wouldn't be in the new one

@@BROCKgoFAST Out of all the videos that I've seen whatever transmission fluid came out they drain into a container and they put back the exact amount back in

Oh man with the recharge part? So sorry, I ended up going to a shop to get the refrigerant put in. It ended up being way more cost effective than doing it myself. I was going to buy the vacuum kit to do it but the cheap ones were garbage and the hood ones were quite expensive.
