Pond Information
3,600 litres ( 792 gallons).
100 liters trickle filter with Alfagrog.
Filterbox Premium 10,000 Filter
Pump = Hozelock Aquaforce 3500 Solid Handling Pump.
UV Clarifier =11w
pondtec pondoAir set 900 = 9001/h 12 w.
2nd Pump was running through the Bakki shower @ 2000lph.
soon to be replaced

Einen sehr schönen Teich hast du da. Ich habe meine Filteranlage auch von einer Tonne auf 3 aufgestockt. Dein Reiernetz ist ja nicht scht schlecht, aber, wenn er da ran will geht der Reiher aufs Netz und hack mit dem Schnabel da durch und verletzt deine Fische. Ich habe mir ein Gesell aus kanthölzer und Dachlatten gebaut und es mit dünnen Estrichmatten ringsrum verkleidet natürlich begehbar und mit Tür drin und nie wieder ärger mit dem Reiher und noch Kindersicher.

Might have to move the fixing for the shelf above, and cut it back, some so I can get access better to the first barrel 👍🏻👍🏻

@@GazsKoiPondim hoping to get my blanket weed controller in tomorrow then clean it all out over my long weekend off sorting air stones etc for moving beds ,bonus was that i ordered my air pump and it came with two 1k water pumps so going to have a play to see if i can get more flow into filters rather than buy a bigger pump, but bigger pump will be fitted at a later date

Ich habe meine Tonnen mit 40er HT Rohre verbunden und die haben innen eine Gummidichtung und lassen sich gut zusammenstecken undhalten auch. Am Auslauf der letzten Tonne habe ich dann ein 50er rohr genommen, damit die Tonnen nicht überlaufen.

spot on gaz the trial and error has payed of mate the amount of times i tried with my moving bed i was pulling my hair out on occasion 🤣it should make a great difference to the pond now 👍

Hi gaz me again Regarding the VALTERRA SLIDE GATE VALVE what size are they I’m going to use 50mm waste pipe… one video said you needed a spacer I’m confused just need to check before I spend £100 Been looking at doing the same but possibly using k1 static in one and two and moving in three

I did not use 50 mm waste so you will need to get the compatible one for your pipe work mate

Looking good, just need to dial in the flow rates. Have you thought about adding an overflow to each barrel running either to your return barrel ( like a bypass )or back to the pond just in case they start to back fill when they get clogged with waste? Some black 21.5mm overflow pipe , three tank connectors and a few elbows ( all cheap as chips) should be sufficient I would have thought.

Great fix mate I'm so glad you didn't put that first 90 facing upwards there's literally only one thing I would have done slightly different but who cares it working a treat Great job mate with the right media that's gonna work beautifully 👍 job well done bud 👍

@@GazsKoiPond just that first waste pipe I would have gone straight down just like the others and then just had 1 straight pipe along the bottom don't know how much it would help but that's what I would have done 👍

Hi Gaz need help I have a Jebao 10000 but it not pumping through is this because I’m to high up don’t know what to do

I have a 10,000 variable pump and mine is tweaked down to 20% more cost savings but mainly for the dwell time for the media. You can push the water through too fast and the bacteria doesn’t have the time the breakdown the waste.

Looks ace gaz running good decent flow ,can you just not wrap black tape around the white bits on the filter system or spray them buddy ,no one going to see them really anyway mate hope you are well my friend 👍🏻😀
